I disagree too. Soon could be days, weeks, months, or "we have no clue, but we'll keep saying soon for the next year while we keep people waiting." It's not general, its vague, lol.

Did they change the format of the store to mirror the PS4 store? Both stores seem to always be advertising Plus to me, even though I'm already a Plus member and they can tell because I'm logged in and getting the discounts.

I found a $17 adapter on Amazon, so now I'm playing using a wired 360 controller. They had the controller for $30. Some time back I put a skin and trigger caps on my DS3, but using the 360 controller is better still.
Plugged the adapter in. Plugged the controller in. Everything works perfectly so far. Some people report lag in fighting games, but I don't have any of those to try. If there is lag, I haven't noticed it. I wish Sony would have put an unofficial 360 controller driver onto the PS3. I would have bought more PS3 games. |

HDE Adapter It has mostly good reviews.
Some of the bad reviewers looked like they were trying to use a charge cable with a wireless 360 controller. One was trying to connect a DS3 to an Xbox, but this adapter isn't meant to do that. |

Sony released a new firmware update a few hours ago. Version 4.55 is out, and is a required update.
So yay! Update for the PS4 yesterday, now today we get one for the PS3. |

Has anyone noticed their Netflix streaming quality being really poor lately? I can barely get 480p and it sometimes drops below that. I've tried both wired and wireless and still get poor results. On the ps3 speed test I consistently get over 13Mbps (if I wire my laptop I show over 50 so the connection should be good). I have a Roku that I use in another room and that can get 1080p using the same connection so it appears to be a PS3 issue.
