The image shows the Platinum Hits version. Is that what this one is?

Might be Platinum Hits. The file size is pretty big. Probably not though. I'm guessing the covers for Games on Demand are always the Platinum Hits cover, if it exists.

:grunt:

Spoiler:
It's actually not that bad out. I'm getting my winter tires on Monday, though.

Just added it to my queue

Was this free in the past? Because it's showing as already purchased and I know I never would have paid for it.

Episode 1 was free in the past. But download/purchase again and it should be a different file size. After getting this, my transaction history reads "Fable II - Full Game" as purchased.

Ah, that rings a bell, and makes sense. Downloading now. Thanks!

I just got the new 4G Slim version from Amazon yesterday. I've only used it for streaming. So far, I think I've had the machine on 3 or 4 times and haven't streamed more than an hour at a time. I turned the 360 on this morning and saw the red dot. I powered off a couple of times and then it powered on and everything was fine. But seeing the red dot this early definitely has me concerned and I'm wondering if I should go ahead and exchange it.

**UPDATE**

Just turned it on again after a few hours, and got the red dot immediately. The power brick light is green, however. See pics below. Needless to say, this piece of shit is going back.

Apparently there's a guy who goes by Stallion83 who has to be the ultimate Gamerscore whore. He's on a singular quest to get to one million and he just got half way there! Wow. He has a blog www.1milliongamerscore.com and put together this fairly awesome video:
<object width="640" height="390"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/1YB2-NvsuH4&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/1YB2-NvsuH4&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></embed></object>

I didn't count, but I don't think those achievements came close to 500k.

 Check out his blog. Besides helpful informative posts about his cat, I'm pretty sure there's a pretty comprehensive list of Achievements. He did this "leapfrog" thing where he started getting 25 Achievements in a day and then every day thereafter tried to beat that number of Achievements. He crossed the half-million threshold with 45 Achievements on his 15th consecutive leapfrog day. That sort of thing boggles my mind. It's way beyond a waste of time at that point -- it's just beyond comprehension.

If he gets enough attention from blogs and such I can see him getting some sweet MS swag.

That's only the 250GB model, the 4GB version is flat black (like the new slim PS3's).

Oh, good to know.

The HDD is $129.99, so if I ever needed a new 360, I'd have to pay $30 to get a matte system.

Would totally be worth it though.

MajorNelson already congratulated him, so yeah, when he reaches 1 million he should be rewarded.

Nobody did. It comes out in early November.

It's the exact same price as every controller/charger combo.
