I cannot do the XBOX Live Account on LIVE. I see the 40% off, but when I click it I get some error. I wonder if it is because I have over a year left on my sub (I think).

I had two years left on my sub and it let me re-up at the $30 price, along with a couple others above.

You guys see the announcement at TGS about a new Steel Battalion coming to the 360 and being Kinect controlled? I'm officially intrigued. I really wanted to play the original Steel Battalion with the awesome controller and never had the chance.

I have the controller and never used it. :( Should have sold it when it had value.

Is there a way to rip MP3s from a CD or DVD onto my 360 HD? Or does it have to be in regular audio CD format to be able to rip?

Nope, no way. Regular audio CD rip is the only way.

You can plug an mp3 player through the 360's usb and play the audio files that way, but no ripping.

I continaully have a problem where I cannot connect to one of my friends on XBL. Both of us have open NATs and we have no problem playing in groups. However, whenever we attempt to connect 1v1 it won't work. What gives?! Anybody encounter this and/or have a solution?

In actual related news, Live should be going strong to get your Halo fix in. ;)

Since they haven't actually charged you the $30 yet, I think you still have the option of turning off the auto-renew and forfeiting that discount.

You are only allowed to have 36 months of LIVE pre-paid such as with the pre-paid card or subs. that have already been redeemed/purchased thru the dashboard.

For example, if you were to enter a 1-month code or more, it would move your renewal date further and delay your $30 charge.

Which RPG would you guys recommend I play next:

Oblivion
Fallout 3
