Rereading my post, I screwed it up worse than Dr Pepper did. It's supposed to be an Iron Man 2 theme and technichally it is, but it's Iron Man standing next to and flying into huge cans of Dr Pepper. So it's really much more a Dr Pepper theme. The next time I post a smart-ass comment, I'll try to make it a little easier to understand. Sorry.

Anyone know if Toys R Us, Wal-Mart, or some brick and mortar are doing any sales or specials for Red Dead? I keep going back and forth on buying it but if i could pick it up today and get it for less than 60$ or with a gift card i would.

I was tempted by the Mass Effect 2 Avatar stuff, but it just feels like a waste of money, even if I love the property associated with the clothing or prop. Hey, if you like that stuff, go for it. I just completely fail to see the appeal.

Man I wish they'd drop or revise that douchey pose that they have all the Avatars stand in.

I can sort of see why you'd want to dress up your avatar in a Star Wars costume, but why get one with a full helmet? I mean is there any point in buying the costume if the avatar no longer resembles you at all?

Speaking of Avatar Marketplace : Is there anything more fraudulent than their "Most Popular" list. I might have a hard time believing that the Kefling Miner Hat is the most popular Avatar Item or that Gonzaga has the most popular college gear, but who knows, maybe that's possible. Still, there's no way on God's Green Earth that the Toronto Raptors have not just one but the TWO most popular NBA jerseys available. Someone is pulling our legs.

So I got an E79 code today. Is this the gateway to the 3 RROD? Microsoft won't honor a 3 year warranty unless it's the 3 RROD or E74. What a crock of shit... my console is 1 1/2 years old. Nice quality product Microsoft!

The costumes are 320 points each and surprisingly they are just sold as a costume set -- you can't take the helmet off, which is a bummer. The pet tauntaun is 240 points. And yup, the Lightsaber is 400 points still. That's where I drew the line.

Thanks. I've done some digging too and my hard drive works fine on a 2nd 360 system that I have. The Elite won't boot up at all w/out the hard drive -- so that tells me it's the console itself. I'm just not sure if I should pry the thing open now and try clean it out are try the penny trick.
