It actually looks like it might be one of the few kinect games that is worth your time.

Also, my birthday was just last month. :( So I'll have to wait nearly an entire year to get my awesome special gift. Can't wait to be older!

The gifts have started to show up as pending on people's accounts.

Your special birthday gift will be... Wait for it....

Spoiler:

20 Microsoft points!

I guess they weren't lying when they said the retail value was $0.25.

Just think: after only 60 birthdays as an XBL Rewards member, you earn enough for one free arcade game!

I admire your patience. Me, I'm already trying to decide which free Dance Central track I'm going to grab in 2025!

Shooting too high fellas. Just keep your eye on an indie game you might want in 4 years.

Isn't the update today?
I signed up for the beta updates, but never even turned my Xbox on once during the whole beta period. :(

Everyone should try Happy Wars since it's free. I found it pretty entertaining. Not sure it will keep my interest for long though.

Why so excited? They've been getting shittier and shittier with each release.

Well, the Pin is a really useful feature. I keep HBO Go, Netflix, the Sales & Specials app, Rock Band Blitz and Dust : An Elysian Tale pinned, and when I want one of those (which are recently the most often played things on my 360 that aren't disc based), I can launch right to them without any searching or any loading concentric circles. It's actually the best update yet.

But yeah, there are more ads now, which sucks. As well as not-so-helpful suggestions of crappy games "You Might Like". But on the plus side, I don't think you get the random loud ads as you scroll through any more.

No kidding, at this rate, the next one will have advertising taking up 90% of the screen, and you'll have to sit through ads to play your games.

I miss the blades - remember those?

Not sure. Whatever dashboard I had when I initially got my 360, was the best. Got mine right when the slimmed down models were coming out.

Remember when everyone complained that the friend list took a long time to load. And the games list.

And still no more than 100 friends?

;)

the first two dashboards were great but there is no way they would have been able to handle the amount of content offered these days.

 I don't mind the dashboard updates.
That said, I haven't received the latest one. :(

I like the new update. They really just changed it to match Windows 8.
