Can't wait to play four player split screen on my PC. Not. This is a dumb idea. Xbox Live is a gaming service, not Facebook, Myspace, or Google+ no matter how much Microsoft wants it to be.

Someone still using "not"

I don't see what the complaint is, I have some Games for Windows Live games and it's nice to integrate with achievement points and see the same friend's list as my 360. At worst, I don't see what's wrong with that sort of integration

Alright, I have totally ignored my 360 for the past year or more. I haven't even dived into Kinect or any of that. What are some 360 exclusives that I should consider going back and taking a look at?

What brought me back is the fact that Gears came out. It reminded me that I own the first game, but to this day have barely played it. I'm going to start there, so that should be great.

I still have the original 360 with the tiny HD, no HDMI, and no wireless. That part sucks, but what can ya do. It still plays the games!

Alan Wake, Halo Reach and Fable III have been the major exclusives over the past year. There might be a couple others that I’m forgetting right now.

Definitely pick up Portal 2. Best game of the year so far.

But not exclusive.

Ah yes, Alan Wake, that is one I totally forgot about. How about XBL exclusive games?

Are you going to get a Kinect? A few of those games are worth getting.

Yep, I'm getting married on 10/15 and I'm about to move into our apartment and I'll finally have room to play it properly. That's the only reason I haven't picked that up yet, lack of room.

Which of the Kinect games should I aim for?

My fiance LOVES Nintendogs on 3DS. Is the animal game for Kinect anything that may suit her or is that almost totally aimed at very young children?

There's Kinectimals. It's simplistic, but quite cute. But don't buy it yet -- next month there's a revolution coming :

Spoiler:

No I did not just make that up and photoshop a panda into the box art. Though I admit it looks like I did.

And congrats on the upcoming nuptuals.

I wonder if the new animals will release as DLC? Otherwise I dearly hope my daughter never finds out about the addition of bears. I don't want to rebuy the game.

Also not exclusive, but equally as awesome... Crysis 2.

Yeah, they will. 1200 points. My panda-obsessed daughter is counting down the days until the DLC release.

It also has a tie-in upcoming with <A HREF="http://www.buildabear.com/shopping/contents/content.jsp?id=3500009" target="_new">Build a Bear</A> where you buy one of four bears, and scan the hang tag to import them into Kinectanimals.

I doubt those tags are unique. They'll probably be available here in no time.

Oh God, I have to get it now, lol.

Thanks a lot!

And in all seriousness, I just bought a Kinect with the pack-in game and Kinectimals for under $90 on GoHastings. I have no clue if that's a great deal or not, but it is done. I can't wait to finally be able to try Kinect in my own home.

Let me know how the quality of the kinect from gohastings is. I've been eyeing their used ones for a while.

So apparently the free disc of Halo: Reach I got from the recent dashboard beta can't work with traditional Title Updates and the disc is now an actual coaster in my house. To compensate, they sent me a GoD code for it. I'll be selling that, you better believe it.

How much? PM me. I'm using mine but I have a couple friends that might be interested.

I also have a code I won't be using. I could most likely be easily talked into selling it as well.

Thanks for the heads up. I would've normally glossed over that email, but I got one, too!

Picked one up. Thanks Pinata. If only it was a code being sent, so I could potentially use it on the sale tomorrow.
