After more than 2 weeks of apparently not having any in stock -- yes, that's correct, Microsoft was out of power cables for 2+ weeks with no way of obtaining more -- they shipped a replacement. It was finally delivered this Monday, yay! Except it was delivered to my old address, despite my double and triple efforts to notify them to NOT send it there, so someone else has it now. Long story short, I'm wondering if I'm justified in asking them for some kind of compensation for my month's worth of useless Gold membership, or at least the $10 it originally cost to ship the thing back to them. I'm now downloading the 10 or so items that were backed up in my download queue from sales, etc. I'd kind of gotten used to not having the temptation to play games (my Wii and PS3 certainly aren't a problem there), and had found other, more fulfilling things to do with my free time. Glad that's over! |

There are a lost of posts here, so please forgive me not searching thoroughly. I saw a thread but it didn't seem to answer what I was looking for.
Is there some sort of website that has a review section specifically for Xbox Live Arcade games? I'm trying to slog through all the games they have, looking for what seems good and what seems bad, but they seem to be plagued by titles that are completely meaningless and cover art that looks like stuff third graders would be embarrassed to do. Any clues? -jason |

Looking forward to trying it out. When Sony added Hulu+ even the PS+ members were expected to pay money up front to use it.

I'll probably wait to sign up until next week in hopes to stack them to 5 weeks. If I miss the boat and can't do that, I probably won't give a shit anyway :lol:

I just tried Hulu Plus in my Xbox. Pretty smooth, same as Netflix. Streamed a couple of short videos without issue.
For the free week you don't need to enter your credit card. If you want to apply for the free month you need an Xbox Live Gold account and a credit card, so if you want to keep the sub they can charge you. |

BTW, you can also use your Hulu Plus account in any other device. I tried in my iPad and it worked.
So it's really a full account with all the privileges. For one week at least. |

Signed up for a month, but I doubt I'll use it. Never watched a show off Hulu before, and a bunch of the shows I like (Fringe, Archer...) are web only so it's kind of useless.

You have shows on Hulu free that aren't on Hulu+. You have content on one or both that only works on certain devices. Then you have major networks/shows missing, etc. It's baffling. It just seems like it would be a no brainer service to offer television shows on demand. For me, I got hooked on Community (s.1) over Christmas. I'd love to drop $8 and be able to catch up on the current season. Oh well, I'll try and squeeze in the Office(current season) this month. |

I've been a Hulu Plus subscriber since Day 1.
I'm not sure if you all understand how it works and what type of content falls into the "Hulu Plus" category. It's basically most shows that air on NBC, ABC and FOX and are produced by those networks. Shows like Fringe (Warner Bros), Community (Sony) are web only because those studios don't have any stake in Hulu. Hulu is co-owned by FOX, NBC and ABC. Cable shows on FX, USA have anywhere from a 8 day to 1 month delay. I also think there are rights issues with re-transmitting content on your TV through Hulu Plus because it's re-transmitted in 16X9, 720P HD. The service is good IMO if you need to catch up on stuff and lack the time to watch it in a timely manner and don't want those shows eating up valuable DVR space. I know HD records eat up alot of DVR space. |
