So it would seem.

Re: The Saboteur

I can confirm that it does work. Just ordered The Saboteur for $29.99 with a pre-order of Red Dead Redemption, which also has a current offer of 250 bonus Reward Zone points, or an extra $5, for pre-ordering.

I'm pretty sure since its release that Best Buy has only had it at SRP for 1 week. Other than that its been $49.99-$39.99 the entire time. Maybe Best Buy just has a hater for it.

and this whole time, amazon has not matched Best Buy on this game, while it matches every other game...does not make sense.

Did you actually finish all of these? Damn if there isn't a thousand of them on the map. I know I've done a good chunk of them but it hasn't made a dent. My map still looks like an aerial shot of a KKK rally.

Re: The Saboteur

I just packed back up my GameFly copy and I'm amazed that I put as much time into this game as I did. The art style is great but I just can't keep putting more time into this. If the climbing was like Assassin's Creed then I am sure I would be more into it but it is getting to be a pain in the ass climbing up all these buildings just to plant a bomb and run away. A fast travel system and the ability to place a marker on the map would also make a huge difference. I just feel like I am treading water since there are soooo many Nazi items to destroy and doing so can be very aggravating at times.

You can place a marker on the map. Pause the game, press A or X (depending on the system) to bring up the map. Press A or X to bring up a larger map. Move the cursor where you want to place the marker and press Y or Triangle to place it.

I'm still making my way through the game as I have time. The podcast I do, one of the co-hosts has completed everything. To which I responded with "HOLY SHIT!".

Has anyone else on here knocked this out 100%? If so then how long did it take you to complete the 1300 ambient freeplay "missions"?

Re: The Saboteur

So, did everyone who played this game here enjoyed it? do you recommend it?

That's the impression I get from reading the comments.

I'm still interested on getting this game, just looking for a deal to get it under $30.

Re: The Saboteur

Well, I got the game from the EA Store, $40 - $20 coupon, $20 bucks shipped.

I started playing, and after around 3 hours of play time, I'm loving it!

The story is really good, even for a sandbox game, the voice acting is good, it has the kind of humor I like, it's not really hard in Normal (there are Hard and Freaking Hard modes), and I think you can get a really good chunk of achievement playing for a weekend.

If someone is still hesitating about this game, go ahead, you can still use the EA coupon, $20 for this game is a steal.

Re: The Saboteur

hmmm, I might bite on that offer. I rented it and was impressed. It's GTA and Assassin's Creed's lovechild. I'm sure this has been stated dozens of times now lol

Anyway it's really fun and I'm obsessed with blowing up all the Nazi stuff. One downside is how terrible the handling of the cars is, driving is a pain in the ass.

Yeah! I didn't want to say that, but yeah. I mean, those games are really above the Saboteur, and I'm almost sure they had at least triple the budget of the Saboteur, but this is really a fun game that shouldn't be missed.

Oh and the game still includes a code for the Night Show, and it still works.

Remember : Used Game = No Boobies.

Thanks, Raul. This game was a pass at $60 and at $40. For $20, I figure it must be worth it, even if just for occasionally messing around with the sandbox elements. I was a big fan on Pandemic last generation, so I'll check out their swan song.

Of course, now that I've bought it with that coupon, it immediately dropped in price to $19.99 everywhere. Figures.

Here's the Amazon link
