You're right that it hasn't been officially announced, but *I* know from internet sleuthing that RB3 is being worked on.

Any "band" based RB (such as Green Day and Pearl Jam) will more than likely be track packs like the AC/DC thing.

Having played the Dante's Inferno demo, I think you can safely remove that one from any list of great games ever.

Heavy Rain - expectation levels are still high.

Bioshock 2 and Heavy Rain shared editor's pick for the latest Playstation Mag (both got 5 stars). In the same issue, White Knight Chronicles got 3 stars, and reading the review makes me kinda regret preordering the game from Amazon. Oh well.

With that said I played the Demo and loved it, reminded me a lot of IP.

After playing the HR demo I think it's going to have split reviews. Some people will love it, some will hate it.

That's such a bullshit tactic. Oooh, you didn't score our game high enough... no more games for you. They're just a step away from buying a review score they do want.

It will be interesting to see if anyone else scores it that low.

This was one of the games, along with Uncharted 2, that made me pick up a PS3..if the above is true, and I would guess it would be hard to prove, I would not buy Heavy Rain new, only used. I am not going to support a company that does this...though I am not under any false belief that this has never happened before...

So, I think we can now toss out February as teh Great Gaming Month Ever! in favor of May.

It's totally bizarre to have three huge kart-like combat racers all debut within 8 days of each other, but I have to assume there is market research that shows a spike in game sales at the end of the school year/ beginning of summer and everyone just felt that was their best chance to sell a lot of racing games?

BTW : I'd bet the farm that Rock Band 3 comes out the beginning of September like Rock Band, RB2 and The Beatles : Rock Band did.

My money is on March 2013.

One, I wouldn't call S/S a Kart Racer. Two, Blur was originally set for a November release and got pushed.

Good call. Tomb Raider and BioShock Infinite, a God of War, a Gears of War, a SimCity (ducks for cover), a Starcraft expansion, MLB 13: The Show. Was a pretty solid month.
