Feb. 2010 = Great Gaming Month Ever!
 

This will make history for sure. Feb is normally a completely dead month for game releases, but one has to marvel at the deluge coming.

Confirmed so far:

Bioshock 2

White Knight Chronicles

Dante's Inferno


Possible Feb. releases:

Heavy Rain

Alien vs Predator

Singularity

Lost Planet 2


Then Final Fantasy XIII and Bad Company 2 in March, God of War 4 in April!

The "Greatest Gaming Month Ever" for me will be the month when the NES version of "Contra" hits the Wii Virtual Console.

I assume you are including Alien vs. Predator in the "possibles release" category to inform us that if it is released, then February will cease to be the greatest gaming month.

I have a friend who is an artist at Raven and who says we shouldn't expect to see him until March because he's working seven days a week until then. I have no idea whether he's working on Singularity or something else, but take that for what it's worth.

That deluge of three confirmed games is pretty overwhelming. Still doesn't make up for the delays from this Xmas season, because of which I'm boycotting all video games until they agree to keep to release schedules in November/December.

I think Alien Vs. Predator has potential. The original PC game was brilliant and maintains its status of being an incredible multiplayer experience.

Based on that and supposedly this is being made by several people from the original team i am cautiously optimistic.

I don't care about Bioshock. Dante's Inferno doesn't look that great but i will probably rent it at the very least because i have to check out a video game based on a piece of literature.

I have never even heard of White Knight Chronicles, but i don't follow too much non-Xbox news so if it is an exclusive for another platform that might explain my lack of knowledge.

I will also admit, Heavy Rain is a game that has me really wishing i had a PS3 with which to play it.

I've actually played the new Aliens Vs. Predator game on the PC for a little bit. It's actually a pretty solid game so far. I only played the first couple of levels for the Predator (one was a tutorial, and the other was just the first actual mission), and then part of the tutorial for the Alien campaign. If you played the original AvP games, this is pretty similar, just way better graphics.

Just Heavy Rain and Bioshock 2 for me. Keep in mind that the thread title isn't "Greatest Gaming Month Ever!" or "Best Gaming Month Ever!" - it's "Great Gaming Month Ever!", which doesn't really make any sense, so I can't exactly argue with the OP. ;)

It was a typo. I am guilty, but still a great gaming month. :) Also GT5 comes out, but I could care less about racing. Heard lots of good things about Just Cause 2.

BTW, the February date for Heavy Rain is for Japan. I don't believe the NA date has been announced yet.
