The Ultimate Battle Free Pinball Thread

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread
Got closer than I'll probably ever get again to defeating the Mars table. Had Sunstorm and Refuel done (but those are pretty easy). The Satellite was in the "Docking" phase (which I think is the 3rd of 4) and I was in the final mode of the Pyramid. A multiball mode where you have to hit 6 shots and 6 targets and then lock the balls into the pyramid (using the hidden middle ramp). I tried 5 or 6 times on that, my fourth/extra, ball. I was so close.
Oh well, 177M is pretty good on that table and during the tourney too
Natch.

I'm really digging the Mars table. Got 164M last night, and barely even did any of the missions. I suck so much at the Sunstorm one, as the time limit on it is insanely short and I usually hit the next ramp before it changes over and can never get back to it in time.

The Sunstorm one is really quite lucrative if you don't finish it. Finishing gives a bonus of 20M, I think. Each shot you make gives 500k. Since you can replay it infinitely and it's easy to activate, you can probably milk it for a few million each time as long as you never successfully complete it.

Got my highest score on mars last night 25 mil.! I usually get 5 mil. But am still ranked low. I tried looking for the top score but for some reason couldn't access the top scores. Any site out there that tracks the scores?

When I checked the top score for the tourney the other day, it was well over 4 billion. Looks like you've got a ways to go.

Wtf. How do they get their scores so high? Are they getting extra balls? The only thing I could do to score high points was this claw that would move around the table picking the ball up. Do I just need to spam the same thing over and over again?

First off, they are just better than we are. Second, you have to learn the ins and outs of each table and what sequence of events will net you the most points. If you want scores in the billions, you can't just mess around. You have to beat the various challenges.

All I have to say is fuck the Wolverine table...in the ass. Fucking table pisses me off. I typically have a miracle game or two on every table there but that damn table just gives me fits. I can't even top my meager high school from a few months ago. Every time I think I have a good thing going, the ball goes right down the tubes.
Just had to get it off my chest.

Not sure if this is widely known yet or not, but Tina from 1Up recently mentioned on her podcast that there's a Captain America table coming to Pinball FX2 soon.

They say that designing and creating these tables isn't a quick process, so I highly doubt in a poll like that they're asking for guidance on what to create next, just what to release next.

I locked up the Fantastic Four table. It's sitting out there in the living room, doing nothing but waiting for a ball to appear.
I was in the "Clobberin' Time Multi-Ball" and my last two balls drained straight down the middle which activated the "Negative Zone" ball save thingamajig. So I have this vortex in the middle of the field wanting to cough a ball up, but nothing is coming up. I like to believe they're wedged together under the board in a practical sense.
I can move the flippers and change the view, but I can't nudge the table, let alone tilt it. I've tried exiting/saving hoping it would realize there wasn't a ball out there and put it back on the launcher, but alas. Pity too because I've already bested my own score and I'm only on ball 1
