So - Tell me all your thoughts on Mars. Are you really glad to be there?

Hey, wait

Once my kids get over their obsession w/ watching me play Costume Quest, I'll focus my attention on Pinball, if it makes you happy.

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread

Just thought I'd drop in and mention that I picked up a gutted Genie (1979 Gottlieb widebody) cabinet this weekend to begin work on a 3-screen Visual Pinball cabinet. I'll be taking my time with it, but hope to have it finished within a year. The cabinet is in really good shape, so I'm off to a good start! I'll post updates here and there along the way.

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread

Finally gave in and got my first PFX2 table - Mars. I went with the newest one because I'm still expecting some of the older tables to go on sale soon. The Marvel pack was up for a vote a few weeks ago so it's primed, plus there's like 17 Marvel movies hitting theaters this summer.

I feel justified in believing that this would become an insane addiction because, even with just the one table, it is.

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread

The new Marvel table will have a trailer on Marvel.com this week FYI.

Any guesses?

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread

Why don't you just tell us and quit teasing.

Obvious are Thor and Captain cuz of the movies. X-Men seems out because they already have Wolverine. I doubt they'd feature a villain like Dr. Doom or whatever, but maybe Fantastic Four? That'd be topical...

Need some DC and Darkhorse love.

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread

Related: I need another table having already bested everyone on my friends list on Mars. I don't really want to get a 4-pack yet because I'm a sucker for sales, but a standalone table fits the bill. What's the best single table for PFX2?

Earth Defense
Excalibur
Nightmare Mansion
Rocky & Bullwinkle
Street Fighter II

If I was just picking one off that list I would get that one.

My favorites from that list are Excalibur, then R&B. Both are excellent.

From Zen's Facebook page :

By now you have all figured out that PSN is not coming back up today and Sorcerer's Lair will be delayed. We've decided to counter-balance this bad news with some AMAZINGLY GOOD news: A new Marvel Pinball table trailer will debut THIS WEEK on Marvel.com. Stay tuned folks, this will be a good week yet!
Yes, L&O scooped this, but this is their official word.

Re: The Ultimate Pinball Thread

Then again maybe I should just cool my jets and see what the next Marvel table is since I'll likely be buying every new one upon release now.

There were more votes for R&B, so I got that. It is fun and very stingy on points. The 10M bonus for collecting all 6 sheep in that main BOXTOP mode really helps.

I'll probably get Excalibur next. This is a sad addiction and I knew this was going to happen to me!
