Thanks in advance.
when you get to max level i'd help you out, but i don't have much of anything for a level 20.

I may or may not be able to help. But I have (8) Banks....two per character and had a habit of keeping the best of in some Levels. All four are above Level 55. I just don't know if I have anything down that far in Level 20 or so.

I can check and see. The Siren was my main character so I might have some stuff. I know I kept several of the Orbs.

Re: Borderlands

I checked all of my banks in Moxxie's Dome and sorry to say nothing really until the upper Level 30's at best. Most is aroun the late 40's to 60 range. I think i cleared a lot out after they released Knoxx and raised the level cap. I also found out all four of my characters are above 60 with The Siren at 68. When you get up there I can help and even go at Crawmerax with you.

Cool, thanks Vball and K&AJones! I'll wait till I get higher in level then hit ya up. Maybe I'll get lucky in a drop in the meantime. I just want to plow through it now so I can get to BL2. Thanks again.

Re: Borderlands

Alright. So I got this game during BF week. Fun game. Even Funnier story and dialogue. I hear the 2nd one is much of all that. I also got that one as well.

Anyway...LIVE has a sale on the DLC for this game.

There are 4.

My friend tells me that General Knoxx and Zombie Island are the way to go. He never played Revolution and didn't really get into Moxxi.

I got Knoxx and Zombie Island. Got Revolution for the hell of it..but Moxxi? Should I get it? 400 points. Not bad. From what I'm reading on here. I don't get much out of it either.

Re: Borderlands

Moxxie blows. Picture a horde mode where you get 0xp and no weapon drops. Then imagine each level taking 3+ hours to complete all without dying or saving. If that sounds like your cup of tea, then definitely pull the trigger.

Knoxx and Robot Revolution are the best. Zombie Island okay.

So I get nothing really? Is there even a plot to it?

Re: Borderlands

You get a weapon bank and 2 bonus skill points. You get 1 skill point for completing the first 3 challenges (about an hour each) on Playthrough 1 and another for doing it again on P2.

And no, no story.

There is a story! It's the heartwarming tale of one gamer's struggle to resist jumping off the nearest ledge.

Re: Borderlands

Alright so I've beaten the main game and Zombie Island. I'm ALMOST done w/ the General Knoxx DLC. I've beaten him and all that but now I'm on Marcus' quest. Which is essentially the same damn thing. Uhm...I fell through the floor before the room w/ the elevator and I fell into the chest room down below. Looking online..that's a glitch and it gets abused a bit for good reason. My problem is...it checked off my little objective box for getting the loot, I didn't get anything though. I back out of the game and come back to it, killing Knoxx again, but it won't let me into that room. The door is locked. The checked objective is still there for the loot but the one after and before...still unchecked. How the fuck do I fix my game now? Like...somehow the glitch fucked me over. All I had was this quest, Crawmeraxx (fuck that one for this playthrough), and whatever else can pop up afterwards. It's pissing me off that this glitch fucked me over.

Re: Borderlands

My problem is that I did quit...and it saved. So how the fuck do I fix my problem. No matter wtf I do...the get loot box is checked. I can't get in that fucker.

Fuck. Seems like I need to run this quest w/ someone who hasn't done it yet. Great. I accidentally find the glitch and I get fucked over. If ANYONE wants to help me w/ this one...that'd be great. Just pm me and I'll get on Live and we'll do this shit. Goddamn it. fucking son of a bitch.

Re: Borderlands

Sorry to hear this but it happened to me and thankfully I had some co-op friends to help out. Seems to be only two fixes....either thru co-op or "Willow Tree" editor.

I'll be on sometime tomorrow to play Halo with some friends and if you haven't had anyone help out then I can...providing I can dust off the Borderlands game.

Re: Borderlands

I've never played co op on this thing. So that'd be an experience for sure. I've played it solo cuz for some damn reason when the game came out I just didn't want it. I regret it now cuz the game is damn fun too.

Re: Borderlands

I bought the GOTY version over a yr ago and just finally started it. Loads of fun. Also have the GOTY hardcover guide and debating whether I should just open it and use it (really want to since this is an awesome game) or sell it for $$$$

IMHO...co-op makes this game; both the first and second. Sure you can play solo but everytime I've played with one, two or even three others the "fun factor' to me is even better. Plus you seem to move at a faster pace while getting more difficult enemies to deal with. it just seemed that in some areas and maps it was a bit overwhelming due to size.

Your call on that...never did use the guide. Once-in-awhile go online and look for a "hint" when seaching for something or stuck on some mission but no guide.

What system are you playing on? I never got that far in BL1 (360) as I got in late and there wasn't many still playing it. I've tried pick-up games but you always get one person running ahead opening every chest, or shooting through the objectives. It doesn't help that I like to search around, exploring more.

Now I'm in the same boat with BL2 my co-op buddy dropped out so I have a smattering of lvl 9-17 characters.

Playing on PS3. I'm slow, usually get to play for 2hrs after coming home from work and takes me a while to finish a game.

Send me a friends request when you get a chance so I can do a game invite in co-op.

Re: Borderlands

I thought before they said they were having issues with the multi disc releases? So if I have the GOTY edition with all of the DLC on the second disc (which obviously isn't going to show I purchased it from XBL), I wonder how they are handling that?

Re: Borderlands

I believe they were referring to multi-disc for the main game but I do hope they figure a way to make DLC on a second disc work.

Hopefully, they will..I mean I assume that's why there is so many months between the announcement and when it actually goes public. Not only the GOTY edition, but also the people who bought the expansion discs.
