Cover looks fine to me. It's no Metroid Prime Trilogy steelbook, but it's decent.

They basically took a PS2 boxet cover and made it the cover insert. It's crappy looking. Still, $40 is a sweet deal.

All of a sudden I dont care about my PS3 being non backwards-compatible. The only games I would've liked to have played on my PS3 from the PS2 were GoW and GoW 2, and now I can.

Hopefully this will sell well and inspire other companies to do the same.

I'd love to see other great PS2 series like SSX and R&C.

I think the "late 2009" is in reference to GoWIII.

GoWIII has had a 2010 date for a while now (March 2010, to be more precise).

Goddamn game delay news!!!!!

GoW is what will finally push me to buy a PS3. There's only a handful of games for the system that I care to play, but I want a Blu-Ray player, and I just can't miss out on GoW III.

So basically what you are saying is GoW3 is getting released in November from a "late 2009" date? Nah, you'll find that "late 2009" was in reference to the GoW Collection as the article was about the GoW Collection, and now November is the set month.

Its good that the demo is going to be included for all those people who want to play the demo, but as for me I'm not going to use the code. I'd rather wait to play GoW3 in March.

I played part of the first game on my PS3 and liked it, but the extreme mashing was a turnoff. I had to put the remote on the floor and lean into it and mash the buttons rapid-fire in order to get past certain spots. Not sure if I just wasn't doing it right or it was a "feature" of the game.

The extreme mashing was tough in the first game(thought I was going to snap my thumb off), but was greatly toned down in the second.
