Stargate: Continuum is a straight to DVD movie (after the series ended)with the SG-1 crew. It's an excellent little film.

Today's DOTD is a really good one : Marvel Vs Capcom 2 for over 50% off. I'll assume it's 560 points until it's posted somewhere -- since like an idiot I bought it at full price, I can't see the actual price yet. I'm not crazy about the game, but at that price it's totally worth it!

edit : Yup, it's 560. Amazing deal.

Just tried 0 day Attack on Earth. Did not dig it at all. Weird game and not at all fun. I guess maybe it's more of an online experience, as the upsell claims : "0 day on line is Awesome!". I deleted the demo, so I guess I'll never find out. They're high for thinking they'll sell this at 1200 points; it just isn't very impressive, at least to me, and for 1200 points you should kind of be blown away.

That Polar Panic plays like an indie game. It's clunky and unpolished. Movements are imprecise and it's pretty hard to tell a snow block from an ice block, even on a large HD display. I can see the idea for a good game in there, but not the execution.

Looks like my year will end with me not buying a single XBLA game since the Summer of the Arcade, and with all my previous purchases getting mega-discounted. :sad:

Wow, time has flown. I think the only *new* game I bought since Shadow Complex was Bubble Bobble. That's a pretty pathetic release schedule.

I thought I read that there wasn't a new game for the last week of the year. Maybe not, but when the xbla release schedule was announced, there was nothing mentioned for next week.

The Trials HD add-on is excellent. If you loved the main game, go spend your five bucks now. So many fun new tracks, plus some new mini-games that I haven't had a chance to try out yet.

I believe that there are 35 new tracks. They are spread across the existing Medium, Hard, and Extreme tiers. I played through most of the Medium ones before I had to leave for work, and they were all pretty great.
