TV on the Radio is great - I wish stuff from Dear Science was on there, since I have that album pretty much committed to memory.

Congrats. I hope you can get some info (and tell us!) about any new tracks or on Lego RB music to RB2 track compatibility...

This is highly important, fro. See if you can get confirmation these tracks will export into RB-Proper (at least at some point future if not immediately).

I don't expect or care if LEGO supports DLC or if RB2 exports to the HDD for LEGO to use with everything else.

Make sure you let them know you have a bi-weekly podcast with almost dozens of listeners!

I was gonna go with tens of listeners, but dozens will make us sound even huger! Thanks!

Word. I'm hoping there will be people to talk to. I'm looking to do quite a bit of networking there this year (hell, I made up business cards for the show!), and perhaps even some quick interviews with folks. (If it works out.) Unfortunately HMX confimred they won't be there themselves, so it is up to how much info the EA people have. Anybody want to take a guess on how much info I'll be leaving with? But you know I'll try. Esepcially in terms of the Lego export question. That's a big one for me as well.

To be clear I said "almost dozens", which is only bigger than the first "tens".

It does sound bigger, though.

Come on now. You used dozens plural. That's at least more than 20. Even pushing upwards to 23! ;)

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

Tens is also plural implying, at the very minimum, 20. So I stand by what I said (which is the same as you).

You know this is all pointless when it really tops at at 5 anyway right?

I found a cap on the street while walking the dog during lunch. Had been run over by a car, but luckily unredeemed!

I read that way too fast and without punctuation. It made you look like a huge ass that you didn't care if your dog got run over, as long as the cap you found wasn't used.

I don't know if this has been mentioned in this thread -- I'm certainly not going to figure it out... but even so it's worth mentioning (or re-mentioning) that if you trade in $50 worth of games at Amazon within the next two days (promo ends the 18th) you can get a code for 50% off any game or accessory. Accessories would include the DRUM ROCKER or Beatles Rock Band. This has been covered to excess at other game sites, but I don't always check them... and I can't be the only one.

interesting. I assume it works on pre-orders? because of this line:

-Coupon code valid on purchases ordered before 08/31/09.

I wasnt gonna get the whole beatles set, but for 1/2 off...

I have plenty of crap I can clean out. I just never did it because it never seemed worth it. I figure I can get the DRUM ROCKER and the whole Beatles set (selling the drums again) and pretty much pay nothing out of pocket after a couple of Ebay spare-parts auctions.

Wow, that was a steal. thanks. I was going to get Beatles Game-only for $60. Now I can get the whole bundle for $125, $56 of which amazon is paying me for crappy games I never play anymore... so basically, I am upgrading from game -> bundle for $9.

Judas Priest is playing here next week, and a local newspaper has an article about them. Obviously the writer is a fan. I can tell by his reference to the album Stained Glass and how the album Turbo brought them from the underground to the mainstream. Anyway, here is a quick quote from the article:

“There are some video games that I’m not really a fan of, though I won’t name them,” Tipton said. “But we’re pleased to be part of games that introduce kids to music and make playing an instrument popular.”
