That's some revisionist bullshit if you ask me.The future is relative to the characters that inhabit the world in which they exist. Ratchet & Clank Future is clearly set in the future relative to the characters in the story. The original question said nothing about being relative to 2009.

I'd also give Mirror's Edge the benefit of the doubt, even though no specific year is mentioned. I don't remember the opening monologue word-for-word, but I remember getting the impression that it's set in the future.

I agree with excluding R&C as a valid answer for the future question. I originally had it down and then changed it before submitting my answers. With games set in fantasy worlds, it could all be taking place millions of years ago.
