Re: (Reverse) Sheep Round 7 - Veritable Cornucopia edition

Fallout 3 appears to be the best answer. I was gonna pick that but went with MSG4

Agree, Ratchet & Clank should be wrong too. That's not even our world.

Ratchet and Clank falls under fantasy world somewhere else in the galaxy. We have no idea if it takes place in 3 billion BC, 1982, or 5 million AD

Unless someone can find a year, it will be deemed incorrect.

I doubt you'll find a year, but I think it should play regardless so long as it takes place in some sort of future which satisfies the question. Do the characters warp forward into their respective timeline in the game?

Re: (Reverse) Sheep Round 7 - Veritable Cornucopia edition

I'm guessing the same thing might apply to these two?

Wipeout HD: rabbit77
Motostorm: Liver&Onions

Re: (Reverse) Sheep Round 7 - Veritable Cornucopia edition

The original Wipeout took place in 2052, so I would vote that as a correct answer. Motostorm, I have no idea isn't that just a regular off-road game?

OK Wipeout is fine.

I haven't found a date for Motostorm or Mirror's Edge yet.

Mirror's Edge I thought took place in a fictional city of today?

Re: (Reverse) Sheep Round 7 - Veritable Cornucopia edition

I've been playing Mirrors Edge and I don't recall a date ever mentioned.

Clearly, we should just throw out the whole question!

Does Riddick have a year? Are there even any humans in the game?

Pitch Black takes place in the 46th Century per Wiki.

Pitch Black was in the 46th century, so it is fine.

I've found a number of reviews that say that Mirror's Edge takes place in the future or "near-future," but can't find anything on the official site (including the "Synopsis") that proves it. Damn.

Unfortunately, this question took too long. I have to postpone reveal of the other answers until the kids go to bed at roughly 11:00pm EDT
