Case in point for Nirvana being used.

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/iDDdpxEf9hM&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/iDDdpxEf9hM&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

Now if you hear that and are like "THIS IS SHIT!" I definitely understand, but I find it to be pretty brilliant. Thus far, the videos I've seen for DJ Hero definitely give me the mashup/remix feel that's reflected here as oppossed to straight up dance/house DJ stuff. (Which is definitely fine by me.)

I just want to play this because of Jay Z and Eminem songs.

The guys at Giant Bomb showed how the game can be played. A mashup of two songs we already have in Rock Band. Do I really want to play those again?

 I love when he talks about the amazing and innovative "No Fail" mode they added.

I imagine this game will have it's fans, but it does absolutely nothing for me. It sounds terrible, imho.

This game looks great to me. Shame about that rumored $120 price point. I will definitely be getting it once it goes on clearance.

I was able to order this thanks to the Amazon trade-in deal. With 50% off, it's actually a reasonable price.

Hey..if it doesn't do anything for you then it doesn't do anything for you. Myself on the other hand...I'm dying to play it. Love the mashup sound, I just hope the gameplay doesn't fall apart and can be on the GH/RB level where you actually feel involved. From the looks of the videos it seems that way, but you'll never know till you're actually playing it.

Yeah to each his own. You like the mashup sound, that's cool. To me it was auditory rape.

Fuuuuuck. I think I'm going to bite on this, despite my annoyance at the music selection.

The DJ Hero YouTube channel beat me over the head last night and pretty much sold me. :(

Mine is a mashup of morbid curiosity and complete disdain. It's got a good beat, though.

Next month.

Mine went from despair at it being based on mostly rock music to high interest because it just looks like fun.

I noticed that Taylor Swift is a character in Band Hero. If you download those songs into DJ Hero can Kanye come out and interrupt her?
