I think people who have an extra $60 to spare right now would rather make sure their car has a full tank of gas or their fridge is stocked with food than upgrade their Madden game.

My buddy told me that Sports Illustrated is giving away Madden 2010 when you get a year subscription for $49.99. Not a bad way to get the game for free, or get the game and sell it to get a free year of SI.

Finally played my friend's copy. Does anyone else notice how horrendous the faces are on these people? They look like cartoon heads and faces. I swear I thought it may have looked better last year or even in 2k5. They were simpler graphics, but at least they looked human.

The eyes are downright creepy, especially on the fans in the stands.

how do i dowload the updated rosters? when i go to xbox live it ses that it welcomes favre and vick to madden 10.. usually you just pop in the disk and it ses theres an update for the game.

games fun started my season with the chargers and i'm 3-1 in the pre season.. for some reason my tackling needs alot of work, maybe thats cause the charges as a team suck at tackling.

Go to 'Online', then find 'Depth Chart'. When you try to access it, the game will tell you that your rosters are out of date and will update them for you. There may be an easier way, but that's what I do.

I would, but the online league is pretty much a joke - no CPU trade logic, you can't trade draft picks, no salaries, no ability to import draft files...it's cool that they FINALLY have online franchise, but it's an extremely dumbed down version.

Well I'm really looking for none of that at all. Really just want to go through a season with some other people. Could care less what other people set their hot dog prices at.

I do think its cool that they will be releasing an iphone app for your online leagues.

Did anybody get their copy via the Sports Illustrated deal yet? I'm still waiting and it's going to be hockey season soon.

I read an article on either Kotaku or Deadspin that it will take like 3-4 weeks to get it, which is part of the reason I passed on the deal.

Ha, it's all good. I'm the Bears in my single player league so I'm all for trying out another team.

I'll obviously do a random draw for picking order. I've been playing with them alot too so it might be nice to try another team.

Also anyone who is or wants in who has friends invite them too. Not sure we're going to generate a ton of interest here so I'm open to that.

I wouldn't mind doing it if it's pretty laid back.

I'm not great and get my ass handed to me when I play online. I plan on this being a laid back league.
