Or just not develop for the system, which is what they seem to be doing.

Re: Official PS3 Thread - March 09 Edition
Just a reminder - PS3 day on amazon tomorrow for gold box and lightning deals. I'm hoping for something on inFamous, Killzone 2, LBP or Prototype. I've got a $10 gc too so I've been waiting for a good deal. I'm expecting to be let down, but who knows.

This is what's on the CAG home page for the Amazon day:

3pm - Nothing Else Matters (GH: Metallica)
6pm - Prepare for the future. (Fallout 3)
9pm - Step into the ring with the 8th Wonder of the World (Legends of Wrestlemania)

I could be tempted on GH Metallica if the price is right. I hear good things, but I loathe Activision and am happy with one music platform (Rock Band). Actually, I think I'll just wait for the Beatles.
$40 is too much for Wolverine. I figure I'll get a chance to get it for $20 sometime before the holidays.
I have no excuse for not getting COD4, other than the fact that I'm not interested in the setting.
I started Fallout 3 last night, and I'm pretty impressed. I'd recommend it at $30-35.

No it's not.
I paid $45 at Fry's when it came out, and felt that it was exactly the right price - it's a very long, very satisfying game with good replay value. It's totally a God of War rip-off, but in a good way. If you're willing to pay $60 for a new GoW, $40 for Wolverine should be a no-brainer.

I've never paid $60 for a game. I think LBP was the last game I paid $40 for.

I was surprised HAWX sold out so quickly. I thought the demo was pretty bad, but $25-$27 is a great deal.
All it does for me is remind me that Ace Combat 6 hasn't been ported yet. WTF?

HAWX is great. I picked it up for a 2nd run through, and to me, it edges out Ace Combat just for the alternate camera.

One single game does not exactly mean that there's some sort of mass exodus of exclusives, or even another one ever. And for the record, just like the first NG, "sigma" means that it's kinda different, and not the game that came out on the 360 (many, including myself, preferred NG:Black to sigma).

Personally, I'm waiting for the "Game of the Year" version:
I figured they'd do that eventually (judging by Oblivion).

A Fallout 3 Game of the Year edition will be available in October. It will include the original game plus all five add-ons for $59.99 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and $49.99 for PC.

Nobody's "bichin".
I don't think I'd buy a console for Ace Combat, much less a faulty one.
I strongly suspect that there will be an Ace Combat on PS3, and if not, I have 4, 5 and 0 for PS2 to play...or I'll just have to get my flying kicks in Warhawk...which I enjoy more anyway.
To your point; third party "exclusives" are anything but. If there's a market there, they'll find a way to get it on other platforms, and usually with extra content to boot. Did Bioshock have an "only on" lable?

Re: Official PS3 Thread - March 09 Edition
just an update since getting my system. It came with Uncharted, which was awesome. I finished that last night. I also have been playing a lot of Burnout Paradise.....although I need to figure out the custom soundtrack. I also got Dark Sector (it was $10 new and figured I'd give it a whirl someday) and Fallout:3.....which I watched a friend play for a while......I don't know if I'll start that any time soon. I really want GTA:IV although co-op games that a friend and I can play at the same time (in the same room on the same system) would be best. I don't think Ghostbusters has co-op, which is too bad since it looks like a trip. Any recommendations for co-op games? I do plan on getting the new Tiger Woods when my Sims rainchecks come through....
