Yeah, if you think we're douchey, just go visit the poor souls who are still playing plastic instruments and buying songs for $2 a pop every week.
It's a wretched hive of scum and villainy over there!

Warhawk / Battlefield/ Call of Duty PS3 thread : You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
Sorry bitches, no time for video games these days unfortunately, otherwise I would be douching it up with you guys for sure. Job, job, job, job.
On a sadder note, the activity has apparently died off that much that the message I quoted from 6 months ago is just on the previous page. No wonder we are getting over taken by plastic guitars.
Now, back into hiding....

I still have nightmares about you in a tank. Your accuracy forced me to drastically change the way I fly the Warhawk.
Good times.
Don't I remember you liking Battlefield?

Digi used to invite me into Battlefield at least a year before anybody else was into it

That said, I'm kind of glad we all got into Bad Company 2 after the balance tweaks and maps were all in place. If I had just played it with the original 4-5 conquest maps, I might have lost interest.

Yeah, I feel kind of dumb for not taking his recommendation earlier on when he said that a lot of what I liked about Warhawk was in Battlefield.

and the game really improved once they opened up the variety of map choices.I still think its a shame we never got you to pick up a copy of one of the older CoD games. The private matches can be sooo much more fun than the pub matches. I think the Cod crowd has alot more fun with the older games than with the current one.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night
I've toyed with the idea of picking up CoD a couple of times. I almost bought MW2 at some point.
One of the biggest reasons that I don't is that I know there will be another game less than a year away and there's a ton of expensive DLC to buy, but if we ever settled on one and said "this is the game", I'd be more likely to join up.

Do it. MW2 or BO. We could see which the rest of the group prefers. None of us would say MW3 and most of us are not planning on picking up BO II. I would probably put my vote on BO because of nuketown and the dolphin dive though there are other good reasons for it too. Also ballistic knives, tomahawk, and explosive arrows.

I think the most difficult thing for me in MW2 is the color palette. I have a very difficult time seeing people and as a result often get cut down long before I even consider pulling the trigger on anybody. Plus, it's difficult to practice because pretty much everyone in both the public and private matches are really, really good (or at least, monumentally better than me). Would I get better practice via the first-player part of the game? Is it any good? Is it long?

Gotta agree with yawmush. Most everyone is just not that into MW3. I will pick up Black Ops 2 but I don't think everyone else will therefore it probably would not be included in our rotation. Plus MW2 and Black Ops have better maps than MW3. Used copies of the older games go under 15 bucks at this point and I posted my thoughts on the DLC in our CoD thread.

I was mostly joking. If I thought it could really work I would've done it myself.
