Ah. Well, first time for everything I suppose.

I thought you would appreciate that message, Chew.

It took me a few minutes to find, but apparently all you have to do to pass a core on collection is press the triangle button (you still get some points for your effort in collecting the core). It probably would have meant more if somebody explained it last night, but now everybody knows.

I didn't know how to pass them last night either or else I would have sent Nic a message when he asked ten or fifteen times how to do it.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

I agree with Chew that the variety of game maps and modes this week made it more fun. Hero is probably my least favorite, but collection, vehicular manslaughter, no-warhawk TDMs, flag games, random death matches, and infected puts out a pretty decent night of gaming over all.

Re: Weekly Tuesday Warhawk night

Mixed night...some good some bad. My frustration tolerance was pretty low last night, so apologies for that. It didn't help that we just found out one of our recent students died snorkeling this week. I think I need to get out of the business of trying to moderate/balance the games and just let them play out...even if it's 3 on 5...and even if people don't want to follow the rules.

I'm out of town next week, so why don't you guys give it a run without my supervision (such as it is). Just need somebody to host. I'll come back in "push to talk" mode.

Hero was a train wreck. I didn't account for how that layout with its low bases played to the strengths of the binocs. Hero can be a good variation of TDM, but it only works on a few maps, and I can't remember which ones.

Just a few highlights, but pretty good ones:

- Infected was a lot of fun
- Hiding on top of the bunker on Grinder waiting for nic to come get the mines...which he did...and got wrenched
- The exchange with Flip about "Smiddicks". (I'm fucking Irish! Are you magically delicious?)

The complaining is what really annoys me though. I don't think I will be playing next week, I need a break from warhawk.
I might have tried to teamkill you a bunch, but I wasn't trying too hard...only pulled it off once...and then KTown killed us both. The one time I did teamkill you was the TOW I owed you for mining up the lobby.

Come play next week without me...should be better.

I still haven't gotten my upload speed issue fixed and can't host more than 8. If there's no other volunteers, I can host.

Yep...all good.

My recollection is that you put out one or two mines in a playful "hey, I'm a little bit douchey" way, and when you got me with one, I said "I owe you a TOW later". Once he saw them being used, Shao was just pooping them all over the place.

And I did catch you trying to grab them later and greeted you with a wrench.

RageBlisterSlaughter666 was an upstanding dude.

It's a shame that Nic thinks he's not going to show up this week because shit's going to get crazy with map selections. I'm not talking just a little crazy. I'm talking pure crazy. We'll see a Zones map. At least one Collection. Perhaps a short dogfight so Chew can visit the restroom? I don't know. You'll just have to show up to see.

Yes. We'll definitely play Douchebag. Who's in for Douchebag?!?

Yeah, we're playing this. And nobody gets pissed because it's the point of the damn game.

Map suggestions?

Anything that has bunkers, plenty of cover, and missile turrets galore.

Edit: Definitely not anything from Badlands.
