if you have the preview build of NXE, BioShock is up on games on demand for $29.99. For $10 more you could buy the BioShock/Oblivion combo pack in stores.

When did 360Voice take a shit? I just looked for the first time in a long time, and it shows me as only playing 7 games. Lame.

They're supposedly rebuilding their databases, but it was supposed to be finished a week ago or so, so who knows when/if everything will be normal again.

Awesome. I don't know if the 5 by my name is something to brag about or be depressed.

If you are in the United States, you can now use PayPal as a method of payment for the Xbox LIVE Marketplace.

You can use PayPal to buy Microsoft Points without having to associate your credit card information to your Xbox LIVE account.

That will only get the games back, not the correct value for days played. I tried and mine now show up as one day played each.

Re: The Official Xbox 360 thread - thread hardest

Anyone else having Live problems . The Status page says it is up and running fine but it won't let me login to my gold account. I was watching something on netflix and then when it was over and tried to watch something else I was logged off.

Edit to add the support page has been updated and there is problems logging in from consoles. Well I'm glad it's not just me I guess. I was just really getting in to this show and wanted to watch a few more episodes.

Post "Fix Me" in this thread and they'll bump you up and fix everything right away. You don't even need to download their questionable beta fixing tool.

Re: The Official Xbox 360 thread - thread hardest

Ok so I was just thinking about this it would be sweet if I could queue up something on the site and then send a message to the box to turn on and download it . It thought of this because I have it set so that when I turn it off it doesn't actually turn off until it's done.

That would be nice - and should be possible. I mean the PS3 can turn on and let you remote play things with a PSP over the net

Wake-on-LAN.

It would just draw more power when off/idle. You think people are going to be happy with the heat issue? Remember when the Wii would be warm to the touch because of WiiConnect24?

Re: The Official Xbox 360 thread - thread hardest

That is an obvious problem that would have to be worked on but honestly if done right it doesn't need to draw that much power and create that much heat if you don't half ass it.

I wouldn't trust Microsoft on that, though. It really wouldn't save that much time. Just turn the thing on before you go piss or grab a drink.

Re: The Official Xbox 360 thread - thread hardest

I agree I don't trust microsoft for that, but the use wouldn't be so much if you are at home it would be if you are somewhere else. Lets use batman for an example that demo is 1.5gb even on a fast connection that I have it still takes a bit to download and it would be cool if it was done when I got home.

If working like a PC, Wake on LAN shouldn't really shouldn't cause noticeable heat to an idle machine.

Ok that is right but I will use myself for example I work 12-16 hour nights when I am on break in the middle of the night I will check from my blackberry see something new and then queue it up. Now when I get home I'm usually only awake for 15 minutes or so and instead of using that time for downloading the demo I could play that demo and then when I fall asleep holding the controller I go to bed. I know it seems petty but often I am looking for entertainment that short amount of time between sleep and work and this would help. Let's take it even further what if 2 demos came out that day well that takes awhile to download then there is no way I'd be awake to download and play. Like I said not a big deal just a nice feature.
