And yeah, that's not always, and even some games won't allow you to do that, but the risk is there if you do it.
I don't really follow what you're saying So is there a way to copy saves to a different profile? I'm not sure where the ban would come in to play, i'm just looking to see if i can copy the save data from the offline profile to the new online one on the same 360.

Typically no. The way the system works is each save file is associated with a gamertag. If you look at the files under the Memory management page, you'll see the file associated with your offline profile. There's no way to transfer that to "Fu Man Stan".

Some games don't even save a file to the system, but rather actually save the data in your profile. Obviously, there is also no way to extract something from profile A to place into profile B.

D'oh, that sucks. At least unlocking guys in Street Fighter IV is somewhat quick.

Re: The Official Xbox 360 thread - thread hardest

Here's a question... My gf just got a random message on Xbox from some person and all the message said was "900" and then the symbol for Microsoft points. So, I guess, in effect "900 Points"

Any ideas?

According to the most recent Maj. Nelson podcast, there's been an influx in phishing schemes on Live the past month. Just report it.

900? You should complain about the price!

Tried the Marvel videos from Hulu and it was choppy, had some loading issues, etc. I thought it might just be my setup but others on the Tversity forums are reporting similar.
Tried this on Hulu for Colbert. Not only was it very choppy on my PS3, but the program starting playing about 30 seconds earlier through my computer speakers too.

I'll wait and try it in a few months.

I got one from a friend on my list and I asked him what it was. He left a message saying it was a scam so I deleted it.

Re: The Official Xbox 360 thread - thread hardest

My repaired XBox has been trying to come home...

For the past 2 days, UPS has tried to deliver around 1:30pm, when no one is home. I'll be home tomorrow until about that time. Hopefully they come before I leave for work.

I thought three attempts was the max? You may have to go to UPS and pick it up. I can only imagine what would happen if it went back to MS.

Re: The Official Xbox 360 thread - thread hardest

I love UPS because they always leave my packages at the door. Even if I'm home, they just leave the stuff at the door and then ring the bell and leave.
On the other hand Fedex always wants me to be there and sign that I received the package.

Re: The Official Xbox 360 thread - thread hardest

The X-Men Origins: Wolverine demo is up! I'm downloading it now.

I've heard it said that it's sorta like God of War with Wolverine, and it's very graphic.

OMG, holy crap, that was awesome.

I can see how it could get repetitive really quick, but my God. There are more holy crap moments in the demo than in many entire games I've played lately.

The helicopter scene.

When you see it, you'll know.

Definitely had a God of War feel to it but the camera always seemed a bit too far away. I loved the absolute brutality of the game. Wolverine was just so badass and as violent as you can imagine.

I got it today, on the third attempt. I haven't plugged it in yet. They cracked my damn faceplate (the part that covers the USB ports), but it doesn't really matter to me. They cleaned the exterior a bit too. I had a big streak on the top from when it had fallen off of my shelf, and now it's gone.

I'm about 1/2 way through the wolverine game and it's awesome! It's quite violent, has really nice graphics, and cool combos. It's also quite long, I'd estimate 10-12hrs based on where I'm at.

It's been a long time since I've heard the term "awesome" used when describing a game based on a movie. I'm downloading the demo today and will try it out this weekend.

Re: The Official Xbox 360 thread - thread hardest

exactly, but the game is quite brutal and amazing...I'm sure you'll have fun. It's easily the best movie game ever (Riddick is great but not based off the movies) and overall a solid 8-9 out of 10 compared to any games.

Re: The Official Xbox 360 thread - thread hardest

Most of the reviews seem to have it coming in around 60-70%, but it seems mostly because there isn't anything really new or interesting, just mad destruction. Not necessarily a bad thing

Wow! I'm really surprised reading you guys.

Since I trust you more than any other external review I'll be downloading the demo later today.
