Kenny Rogers - The Gambler? Hell yeah!
I already bought the available country DLC, so I'll just wait until the Kenny Rogers is available as DLC.

Just wondering who the Country music fans are who play Rock Band but haven't yet purchased any of the country DLC. I'm not a country fan, but I might get a couple of those tracks. And I may have said it before, but Sin Wagon is fan-fucking-tastic on guitar (or banjo, whatever).

I was going to get some DLC this week, but a few days ago I went to play and saw that my disc is cracked, so i guess I'l be re buying the PS3 version instead.

The Gambler's cool, but what would get me excited would be Stealer's Wheel's Stuck in the Middle with You. (although that' not really country)

Speaking of the Challenges, it looks like we had 0 entries this week (besides me).
Is there even enough interest for me to keep going with this? Is it that the challenges aren't interesting? Are they not promoted enough? Or is there just not enough time to do them?
I could definitely run the challenges for say, two weeks at a time, if it would amount to more entries.

. Increasing the time between them would make it less appealing, at least to me. Of course, I'd kill for just some plain old online invites for some full band fun, too

Should be another good buy/rip/flip like the AC/DC disc was .. Heck, I saw some of the AC/DC ones at Wal-Mart with a red clearance sticker on them ....

You do know that people are not voting for song choice for the game based on that list, but rather, which live performance of these songs is the best one, right?

They aren't even voting on songs. They are only counting the number of plays as "votes", which is kind of stupid, because of course the most popular songs are going to have the most number of listens. If someone listens to 10 seconds of a song and goes "this is a terrible version" and stops listening, it still counts as a vote. Retarded.

Love those two songs. Very fun. The weird thing is even though I've known those songs for DECADES (damn, I'm getting old), I never really thought of either as "guitar songs". They always seemed more like brass section songs to me. Now I can clearly see how prominent the guitar parts are.

What are the odds that that Country pack will see some Billy Ray or Miley Cyrus? The first seems an obvious party choice and the 2nd would be a name worthy of keeping secret and having a timed exclusive to a retail disc.
Like her or not, Hannah/Miley would be a huge win for these games.

I thought Disney was working on their own music/rhythm game? If so, I think the chances of seeing Miley/HM in RB/GH are slim and none.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread
Hopefully that doesn't preclude them working with a real rhythm game maker that can do it right
