Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

This year is only 30 days fresh.

If you go to the online marketplace, I stand alone is in the "most popular" when sorted. Anyway, that's good news for Godsmack fans, maybe we'll see a pack down the line.

Here's the full scoop:

Thin Lizzy - Boys Are Back In Town (Live)
Thin Lizzy - Cowboy Song (Live)
Thin Lizzy - Jailbreak (Live)
The Pretenders - Precious
Pat Benatar - Hit Me With Your Best Shot
Nikko - Break My Heart
Nikko - Don't Tell Me

All tracks are original master recordings.

These tracks will be $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points) a piece, or $5.49 (440 Microsoft Points) for the Thin Lizzy 3 pack, with the exception of the Nikko tracks which will run $0.99 (80 Microsoft Points) each.

You can find these songs in the Xbox Live Marketplace on Tues Feb 3rd, and in the Playstation Store on Thurs Feb 5th.

Hit Me with Your Best Shot is a great addition. The jury's out on the live Lizzy songs.

Bernatar for me.

Would have automatically bought 2 of the Lizzy tracks if they weren't live. Now, I'll want to see some vids first.

I wish more people would tell us when they aren't interested in the DLC. This is information I just can't live without.

Definitely in for Pat Benatar and out for the Nickelodeon tracks. I don't know "Precious" by name and I want to hear what the live tracks sound like.

Re: Rock Band: Official Thread

At this point, since the GH3 Def Leppard tracks seem to be the exception to the Live rule for both games, I can safely say I'm in for the 5 non-Nick tracks.

I actually think "Cowboy Song" might end up being the best of the bunch.

I almost creamed when I saw Thin Lizzy.....and then I saw the "live" part. I am praying that they sound at least halfway decent. I'll be getting Boys Are Back in Town and Jailbreak (as long as they don't sound like utter shit), as well as the Pat Benetar track.

A clip of "The Boys..." from the new CD. Of course, it should sound cleaner when it's mixed for the game.

I'm not interested in any of next week's songs.

I'm not interested in hearing anyone else say they're not interested in next week's songs.

Your lack of interest is... interesting.

I can live with that, especially if it sounds just a bit cleaner in game. Not ideal, but I'll buy that for a dollar....or two.
