Tempted to stock up on a couple/few years, but I have store credit at the big retailers and will hope for a sale close to that within the next year.

Will Dell charge sales tax on those cards? If so, it won't be a better deal than we could find at Amazon or other places from time to time.

This will be under $30 before the end of July and $20 by black Friday.

Bottom line with Ubisoft: If you aren't going to play it RIGHT NOW, don't buy it.

I think this is pretty much true for anything that isn't published first-party on any console.

I've learned to heed those words, but it's darn tempting sometimes. Wrestling games or budget games ($29.99 and under) are about the only things I buy on first day anymore. There are only a few times when I've made exceptions, Fable and Fallout to name a couple.

Fable is a Microsoft-published title and therefor falls within the pinata exemption clause.

I'd also make an exemption of Call Of Duty titles as they might go on sale, but they're slow to drop in price. Same goes for Madden as well.

I so want Splint Cell...but I want to wait till I see that 39.99 or less from amazon....

Also, when I get it, I hope one of your game nerds is willing to play hard coop with me......(you know who you guys are) Since none of my usually game friends are interested in the game.

Just picked up Pure and Guitar Hero WT for $10 total at Blockbuster.

I just bought Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots and Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection for $35 + tax at Gamestop. MSG was brand new, but Sonic was opened. Hmm, interesting.

Those are both part of their Game Days sale, which has been going on for a few weeks. The rest are here. Usually some of the titles they have left once it is over go on sale for a few bucks less. I'm holding out for a $10 Genesis Collection personally.

I don't know how many other people got in on it. But my Episodes from Liberty City for $9.99 which said it was in the shipping process has now been canceled. Because At least tell me you fucked up and put the wrong price and reserve the ability to cancel orders when you realize that. don't tell me there was an error in the information and canceled it. That's like telling me you listed a USB thumb drive with a transfer speed of 400kb/s and then realized it was 399kb/s and so you canceled it.

Oh well. It was worth a shot.

Not the hugest discount I've ever seen but $20 (or spacebuck equivalent) cards for Xbox Marketplace, Playstation Network or Wii Points are $17 this week at Target (a 15% savings). I'll sometimes find better discounts on MS Points, but deals on PSN credit are fairly hard to come by, so I picked up a couple of cards for myself.

I get all my PSN credit for free thru Sony Rewards.
