I merely made a suggestion and I guess the moderator or administrator liked my suggestion. I was unaware that people could subscribe to threads. Also, it would be nice if people can actually post deals.

From cheapassgamer.com:

Spend $100 using your wallet for the PlayStation®Network (“PSN Wallet”) through November 1st, 2016 11:59pm PT, and receive a promotion code valued at $15 to credit to your PSN Wallet on or before November 15th, 2016 to spend on games, movies, TV shows, music and anything else that accepts PSN Wallet funds!

Promotion is available to legal U.S., Canada, and Mexico residents with an account for use of the PlayStation®Network (an “Account”) registered in their country of residency who are 18 or older and who have spent $100.00 or more using the PSN Wallet between October 4th, 2016 12:01AM PT and November 1st, 2016 11:59pm PT. Third party application purchases not made through the PSN wallet are excluded. Each Account may only accrue a total of $15 in PSN Wallet credits pursuant to this promotion.

1. Doesn't need to be spent in one purchase and anything on the PS Store qualifies for this.
2. In-game items don't qualify.
3. The money can come from any source (PSN cards, CC, Paypal). You just have to spend it through the PSN wallet.

No Man's Sky has been steadily dropping over at Amazon. It's currently under $35. There are also TEN pages of the Limited Edition available from AWD ranging in price from $30 (good) to $34 (Like new - sealed)

The 25 year old version of me would have jumped all over this... the old man version realizes I would never get thru 1/4 season let alone multiple seasons before it went into the pile of shame.

I'm getting that way with NBA2K haha. If I don't do anything with this year's version, I may stop buying.

I'm the same way. At least 2k has a story though. It's like buy these games, play some of the season or career mode, and start simming.

Once I win the title, I'm like "ok, time to trade it in."

I am actually skipping NBA 2K this year as I only played 1 season of my career last year. I also didn't play much online as I wasn't a big fan of how the teams worked in 5 vs 5. A few years ago you just got a random team and picked a player from that team's roster. Now every game is a group of all stars / legends.

Please tell me you played the second season of my career last year and not the horrible, truncated, Freaked out, Spike Lee directed first season only.

NBA 2K actually takes over my gaming life once it comes out, at least for a month or so. I really shouldn't buy any other games around it. Madden always goes into the pile to be played sporadically once 2K comes out as well.

I wonder if MLB is a candidate for Plus now that the regular season is over. I know we rarely got sports games, but they gave us 2K this past year.

Wait. Why the fuck is this a sticky? What kind of dumb fuck shit is this? I damn near missed this bump. It's not important to me, the current bump, but at some point... I'm going to want to notice this. Shiiiiiiiiiiiite.

It's much better to make this an active thread that moves around when it is and isn't bumped.

Or, you could subscribe to the thread and get email notices when it bumps.

I always notice since the thread is nice and bolded if there are any new posts.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Seems easier just to unsticky it, since doing so wouldn't affect those that view or see updates via alternate means (subscription or view new posts) and help those of us that have complained about it

Not a huge deal though, I can deal if the preference is to keep it stickied.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I just think we're at a breaking point. 9 sticky threads is ridiculous. My two cents:

Sticky: PS, Xbox, Nintendo
Combine into one sticky with links in the OP all the rest. A catch all sticky if you will with Gamertags, the CoD thing, mod rules, portable thread, etc.

Unsticky: Deals

Boom, cleaned up to 3 stickies.

Part of that I agree with. Do we really need the "Played CoD Modern Warfare 2? Fancy taking part in research?" sticky anymore?

I only played a few games from season 2. The main reason i used to buy NBA 2k was to play the 5 vs 5 team up mode. I liked how they used to assign a random team and position for every player.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

There's an ongoing Bethesda and Square-Enix PSN sale, one of the notable games on sale being Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition for $7.49. I think the sale ends on October 25th.
