Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

So there's two PS4 bundles.

There's PS4 Slim 1TB with Spiderman and Horizon Zero for 249.99
Amazon Amazon

And PS4 Pro 1TB with Spiderman and Horizon Zero for 299.99 (SOLD OUT)
Amazon Amazon

What Music saw was likely info on the Slim bundle. The PS4 Pro bundle was the better deal, but it's sold out now.

Don't bother with 1. There is very little story continuity to worry about and the second game is WAY better

Rage 2 is $39.99 at Best Buy ($31.99 for those lucky enough to still have GCU) this week. Decent discount for a new full game.

Saw it in the PS Stored for $39 last night...along with a lot of other great deals. Still not sure on this and frankly be tempted to use the $30 on the new Wolfenstein....

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I've bought Super Mario Maker 2 for 45.99$ on Eneba. That's 14 bucks cheaper than on Nintendo shop.

A bargain in its own right. I've had some game purchases in that marketplace before everything seems to work fine.

So, hope you'll have a good one and enjoy, Cheers!

Just as an FYI, the return period on this ends in a couple days. I went ahead and returned Spiderman ($24) and Horizon Zero ($14) to bring my final cost on the PS4 Pro to $280 after tax, so probably around $265 range before tax which is about what I wanted to pay for the Pro. I'll get the digital Spider-Man this week on sale on the PSN store.

Almost got Celeste for the Switch; patience is a virtue. Celeste and Inside are free on the Epic Games Store next week.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

The MS store is having a pretty good sale on physical discs. Some keep going in and out of stock (like Rage 2 for $15). I managed to grab Hitman 2 Gold Edition for 75% off ($25)

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

If I'm correct, the Smash: Fighters' Pass rarely goes on sale. Up for $19.99 on target.com, Target also has a bunch of digital games on sale:

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

The regular games being 20% off are not a big deal (the most recent games like Marvel and Cadence of Hyrule aren't eligible) because the eshop has had decent sales on most of those, but the DLC almost never goes on sale, so the Smash pass and the Octopath expansion for Splatoon are good deals (both matched at amazon)

Thanks. I didn't realize that. Target erroneously charges sales tax on this DLC, making it the savings pretty negligible. Amazon didn't.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

So does the Smash: Fighter’s Pass cover all the DLC characters released or just certain ones? I rarely buy season pass stuff and have no clue how it works. Might be interested at adding that on for the price though.
