Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Those fucking cereal codes. I have a couple I never redeemed because I couldn't figure out if the tall rectangles printed in dot matrix in the codes were supposed to represent O, 0 or D.

Saw this posted over at SD. Gamestop.com has Mortal Kombat X: XL Pack Xbox One digital download for $9.99. Not a fan of digital downloads since my shitty DSL service is capped at 150 gigs a month, but picked it up anyway. Now I just have to wait on a deal on the actual game.

If your local Target allows you to combine a price match with Cartwheel, these can be had for even cheaper. YMMV
Quantum Break - 35% off -- $26 Rise of the Tomb Raider - 40% off -- $18 Halo MCC - 60% -- $8 ...prices listed would be after PM and CW. |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Best Buy has Rise of the Tomb Raider as a Deal of the Day for $24.99 ($19.99 w/GCU). If you grabbed it last week for $30/$25 then its time to price match.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Best Buy won't adjust after the fact anymore, iirc

If we lower our price during the return and exchange period, we will match our lower price, upon request. |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Huh. I could have sworn they took that away. Good to know. Thanks.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
They won't price match other stores after the fact. They will adjust if their price drops lower during the allotted exchange period.

Get an Xbox One with 5 games, an extra controller, and a $50 Amazon gift card at Amazon for $369.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Damn! That's a good deal!
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
ohhhh.......that XB is so tempting. I just want one for Gears of War....and still have my XBL account with some friends still on.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
At this point, you might as well wait until E3 just in case they announce a revised console.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Yea...that's another reason why I've held off. Sony is doing something with the PS4 and it would only make sense that MS would be "upgrading" the XB1 in some form or another....still an outstanding deal.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Two and a half years in, I would say that the included game Forza Horizon 2 is the best exclusive retail game on the console and the included Ori is the best downloadable exclusive on the console. Not a bad bundle.
But yeah, word is something better is coming to both the console and the controller at E3. |
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
If I see a upgraded XB1 Gears of War Bundle out of E3...I'm all over that.....
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
They haven't announced a GoW bundle yet, have they? If not, there is a good chance.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
They mean a Gears of War 4.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
That's a good deal and I've been planning on getting a second Xbone, but I agree. Wait til E3.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Best Buy added a $10 reward zone cert with Battlefield 1 pre-orders
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
Yeah, I'm pretty much ready to get a PS4 but want to hold out for the new one at this point.
|
Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
I was planning on waiting for E3, but I saw a factory sealed 1TB Rise/Tomb Raider XB1 bundle on Amazon Warehouse Deals for $230 and couldn't resist snatching it up. I've been stockpiling my RZ certificates for a PS4 sometime this year.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread
That's a really good deal! You made the right call there.
