I failed, but only bought three games. Two of the Sam & Max sets and Defender Kingdoms (?). I may own all three of them in various bundles of course, but that'll just make for more gift codes once I complete this digital game database that I started on one of my devices somewhere.

They were really great deals. I wanted the Heroes of MM, masters of orion bundle, and ultima, but stuck with FTL and am having a blast with that (and hating it).

If any of you guys have a blockbusters near you, they are running a 50% off all games 19.99 and under. There are quite a few gems to be had including 8 or so wiiU games for $10 each. There is a sizable thread over on CAG about it. UFC Unleased 3 and Portal 2 are both $10 after the sale. I also saw Lego HP 1 & 2 for $7.50 each. Disney Universe is $5 after the sale.

I've noticed Sonic & All Stars Racing (all formats) has been fluctuating between $27-$29 the past couple days on Amazon. Not sure if they're price matching someone.

What's the consensus on this one? Kinda itching for something to play on the WiiU.

It's my favorite kart racing game hands down. Tons of variety (even from lap to lap in one race!), fun unlockables, it's challenging without being frustrating, the gamepad gives you local multiplayer with no split screen if you're racing against one other person...that's a huge, huge selling point for me. I'd definitely recommend it, and I'd probably say it's my favorite of the 6 or 7 Wii U games I own.

Adam, how is the single player? Or is all the fun to be had in MP?

The local MP sounds great. Truly something worthy of the second screen. I'm just cautious because I've really only enjoyed 2 other Kart racers outside of the MK series (Crash Bandicoot on PS1, & Diddy Kong on N64). On the flipside though, MK has just become stale to me so I'm torn.

I only played the 360 version, but I loved it. Really fun, and I'm not a Sonic guy or a cart racer guy.

It's a great game on everything except the Wii U. Avoid that version and you're good.

I know there was a patch due though, so maybe they fixed the issues by now.
