I got in on that Borderlands 2 deal as well.

I'm intrigued by the Halo 4 offer. It's full price but you get a $20 Amazon gift card and $10 instant video credit.

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

My ridiculous haul so far:

$35
-Assassin's Creed III (which I'm pissed I didn't get at $25 from Microsoft's website)

$25
-Borderlands 2
-Sleeping Dogs
-Resident Evil 6
-NBA2K13
-FIFA13
-Dishonored

$10
-Dead Island
-UFC Trainer

$20 (combined price of a couple used games)
-Dragon Age II
-Crysis 2

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

Interesting watching the current lightning deals. There are more PS3 buyers on just about all the multiplatform games. Either that or Amazon has more 360 copies for the games. About the only one that bucks that trend is Wipeout 2, which is almost gone on the Wii and 360, but there's plenty left for the PS3.

Mad about that one myself, I was at work when they started the sale, checked it bout 30 mins before I got off and it was still active and when I got home to order it, it was sold out. Pissed me off good.

Dishonored is $29.99 on Amazon. Should I jump on this now or will it be like this up to Christmas?

I'd wait and see if they throw it back up as a L Deal. They put quite a few titles on the list since last night that were not scheduled. Who knows.

I have a feeling most of the deals on newer games will stay around $30 through Monday so you will probably have time to pick it up if it doesn't get discounted further.

Apparently, there will be a 12:00 PM PT Gold Box Deal on Amazon for the PS Vita Liberation Bundle + download code for Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale (Vita) for $179.99. Amazing deal!

Sure enough when I checked out they rang up at $20, supervisor or something like that right away before finding an ad said it was for the 3-months and I was like NO, the ad shows the 1600 point cards. He went to the service desk and got the ad and of course adjusted the price.
The Target by me gave me some crap about the ads being printed so far in advance that it wasn't their problem. I gave up arguing and went to Wal-mart and matched them.

That's tempting, though I'd rather just have a Vita for $129

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I didn't score a copy of Dead Island for 8 bucks at Best Buy this morning. All the 360 copies had been picked clean. There were still a few PS3 copies left but I was hoping for the 360 version. I took the ad to Walmart and they priced matched it there! Since I was there, I went ahead and picked up Red Dead Redemption GOTY for 15 bucks as well.

I was amazed at how empty BB and WM was this morning. I guess everyone went crazy on Thursday night instead.

Amazon had a Halo 4 Lighting Deal:

$60 price
$20 Amazon GC
$10 Amazon Video Credit
And then I opted for no rush shipping for an extra $3 of Video credit

94% left with about 35 minutes if anybody is interested.

What was strange was that twisted metal was at waiting list a minute after it opened. And not even a 50% savings, guess they really had low stock.

9:10 is WWE for me, Glad amazon matched all of those 25$ Walmart deals

3 great games for the price of 1.5 games

For those that don't get it through Amazon ... Walmart.com has WWE 13 for $25 if you use "ship to store".

Re: The Video Game Deals Thread

I'm proud of myself. I only bought Dance Central 3 for $15 from Microsoft. I've passed on everything else. Of course, I did buy AC3 & BL2 at launch for full price, so I probably would have gone for those had I waited.

I did buy several downloadable games on XBLA and Steam, though I'll probably barely touch them. I don't know who I am any more.
