Sometimes it also came down to the 2-per-console restriction. I picked Mortal Kombat II for the Genesis because I expected to need the SNES roster spot (which, in the end, I didn't even use...sigh).

I also figured that it wouldn't hurt me too much because most people still associate MK ports with the Genesis because the first had the blood and the SNES version didn't.

Agreed. I was baffled that BG&E went for PS2, but I was holding it for Xbox OR Gamecube. Didn't matter, just what I had room for in the list. So ultimately I think that was a big deciding factor for everyone.

I won't post the totals, but some of the matchups have really tightened up (sorry Spainlinx0 )

That's why I picked Fallout 3 for the PS3.

That's OK. I enjoy voting as well and we have plenty more of that to do.

It's not there yet. Being a PS3er I tried to ignore when it would be out.

Especially considering that my city is going to be the damn expansion. Bastards.

There hasn't been any voting in over 48 hours. I'm going to recommend that for the next rounds we shorten the voting period considerable.

I was thinking the same thing. Although, I may just have it run from Friday through Tuesday. It would be basicly the same as Mon-Tues.

my votes:

DVDChris - a little old school heavy, but the 2 360 titles are solid.
Michael Corvin - 3-10 don't do much for me, but 1&2 are more than enough.
edstein - ssx & thps2 make for some great replay value
The Bus - this one was close, but DKC tipped the scales for me
orangecrush - neither list is really up my alley, so going with RockBand
Vryce - pretty good mix of old & new, and I'm not a big kotor fan
mattysemo - you had me at tetris
jdpatr - very solid 1-5.

Keeps the votes coming in people. Most of the regulars have chimed in. It's time for the lurkers to put in their two cents and vote for me. I really don't want to be in the losers lounge. No offense Spainlinx.
