Thanks Bus for all of the hard work. The pictures are a very nice touch. Although, I suspect me refreshing so much w/ all the extra bandwith use will draw attention from the IT department. I do not need another letter from them!

If you are going to not count those, then you can't count the other E3 answers either. E3 (and press conferences in general) are all about promotion, though, so they should be fine.

I just want to interject for a second and congratulate nickdawgy for his great performance so far.
And yes, I guess this one is harder because by Question 4 in Round 1 we had 12 people in the single digit scores.

You can also use the term generically to refer to anything a company does to promote it's products. If we went with that definition, you could include just about anything. Given that we were talking about advertising and campaigns, I was assuming the more specific use of the word, but it doesn't really matter to me which definition we go with. I will say, if E3 counts, I think we're using a definition under which pretty much all the other things count as well.

The PlayStation Portable (officially abbreviated PSP) is a handheld game console manufactured and marketed by Sony Computer Entertainment. Development of the console was first announced during E3 2003, and it was unveiled on May 11, 2004 at a Sony press conference before E3 2004. The system was released in Japan on December 12, 2004, in North America on March 24, 2005, and in the PAL region on September 1, 2005.

A handheld game console is a lightweight, portable electronic machine for playing video games. Unlike video game consoles, the controls, screen and speakers are all part of a single unit. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, several companies—including Coleco and Milton-Bradley—made lightweight table-top or handheld electronic game devices. Today, these machines are not considered strictly consoles, since they often would only play a single game. The first true handheld game console with interchangeable cartridges was the Milton Bradley Microvision in 1979. Nintendo has dominated the handheld market since the release of the Game Boy in 1989, and is often credited as popularizing the handheld console concept.

In my defense, I did cite specific elements of the PS3 launch campaign that were controversial: high price, bulky/ugly console, and the general cockiness of Sony execs about the whole thing.
I'm really surprised more people answered with PSOne for #1. I thought that was going to be a pretty unique answer! I can't believe I got #4 wrong though. That was one of the few answers I felt really confident about.
I have a feeling that I'm about to get a lot more points!
