It has been around for a couple of weeks (that I know of) but now it is really picking up steam. And for some reason I am encountering much more lag lately...making me suspect more cheating (without even addressing all the boosting going on).

There is also a glitch that turns many weapons into automatic weapons. If it is done with the Intervention, it also gives infinite ammo.

My solution was to switch to BC2. The glitching in MW2 is ridiculous.

That is exactly what i did.

Same here, I'm done with the game. MW2 is broken and all IW wants to do is squeeze more money out of it. Not to mention that the online community is absolutely terrible.

BC2 is great. I haven't seen any glitching yet in that game. It may happen, who knows but so far so good.

I experienced that for the first time the other day, it was crazy. You'd run slowly and then start flying across the map, and it would go back and forth like that. It only affected Ground War when I played.

On another note I had my best match ever today, 46 kills, 4 deaths. For emergency airdrop I got AC130, Chopper Gunner, Harrier Strike, and Sentry Gun!

Funny, same here. Just put it away. Couldn't stand the non-stop grenade launchers, running knifers and !)@#(* glitchers.

Picked up Mass Effect 2 and am nicely immersed in a most enjoyable single-player campaign.

Bring a shotgun to that knife fight. You usually end up on top.

True...but too many times (hence your usually) the one with the knife wins because the knifer is pretty much invincible during most of the animation.

Only IW would take the absolute worst thing about Halo, add some steroids, and put it in their game.

That is why I don't understand the Treyarch hate...yes, IW built an awesome engine, but it is in much better hands with Treyarch...they actually listen to the community.

Reminds of that interview with IW where they were asked if Zombies would be DLC for MW2. They said something like "we wanted to keep it realistic."

Well, dual wielding sawed off shotguns may not be likely, but it is a possible feat - I'm pretty sure zombies aren't.

Well, the whole game lacks realism, the shotguns were the first thing I though of.

Looking at the video and screenshots on the mappack I'm really liking the housing complex map.

I've been playing this game for a few weeks now on 360 (way late to the party, I know) and have a few comments/questions:

-I agree with the posters above who have hatred for Marathon, Lightweight, Commando. It is ridiculous the distances I'm getting knifed at.
-What's up with the 10 prestige lobby messages I keep getting from random people? What is a 10 prestige lobby?
-The new map packs came out today and I'm unable to play any games because the server keeps timing out...I'm guessing that's not a coincidence. It's annoying.

They're having trouble with the new map pack playlist. I just tried getting a game for 20 minutes and got booted every time i started searching for a game. I got a lot of "Unable to connect" and "Communication with the Xbox Live Servers has been interrupted" messages. What a joke.

when someone on the other team is using this class i generally switch to my riot/dual ranger class. as mentioned above, the shotguns give you an advantage.

i am assuming they are boosters/cheaters and they claim to get you to 10th prestige, usually in exchange for money/mspoints.

i don't know what's more surprising- that there are issues getting the DLC/update or that large numbers of people are actually buying an overpriced addon for this game that has been broken since release. (ftr i am on the fence about it but double xp is quite tempting.)

I think a lot of people will buy the new maps, but I'm not interested in spending another $15 just yet. It sucks that the map pack problems are affecting the normal maps/servers.
