I finished the single player campaign this evening... the story was a big wtf to me... maybe because it was confusing or maybe because I played so much MP in between levels of SP. Either way it had some excellent "whoooa" moments and I'll be looking forward to the sequel in two years.

My brother was playing this on Xbox Live and he got a 25 kill streak for the first time. He told me and just before the nuke went off, he lost the connection to the host! He was super pissed about it. He's played in games where someone else has gotten it, but this was the first time he's gotten it.

My bro-in-law was kicking ass with Chopper Gunner one time, and kept getting triple kills.

Next thing you know, disconnected.

I think there are some poor sports out there that pull the plug.

For you lucky ones playing on PS3, the patch for the US will go live sometime today or tonight, per IW.com and fourzerotwo. Fix for care package canister speed boost, infinite care packages fix, full 1887 nerf (no FMJ boost), and some other stuff.

I threw this in for the first time in a few weeks and promptly got shithammered. I wish I could blame glitches, but it's like I legit forgot how to play. I'll probably put in more time again once the patch hits 360, though.

That happens to me when I take a few days off too. Seems to take my like an hour to "warm up" and get back to a positive KtD

Some of my best games have ended in the final seconds with a dropped host. I'm not sure how the game decides whether or not to migrate hosts but for me it's about a 50/50 chance.

So with the PS3 patch in place and the 360 coming potentially in the next couple of weeks, some patched PS3ers apparently already found a new infinite care package glitch last night. It's so sad and frustrating, it's almost funny.

I wish they would just swing a banhammer when they patch the stuff as well.

It probably doesn't hurt as much since PSN is free.

I like the idea someone else had...once someone uses the glitch, send them back to level one - reset their whole profile.

What if someone accidentally does the glitch?

They should make it 3 times before you reset

Do any games evert do this? Punish players for exploiting glitches.

Can't the host of the game kick anyone he wants? That's the simple solution. If they get kicked out of enough games maybe they'll change their cheating ways. [probably not]

I've pretty much hung up this game until the patches are in... or maybe until some new maps are released. Im engrossed in ME2 now and not turning that off anytime soon.

I was hoping to get to level 70 and then shelve it until the new map pack but I'm stuck at 60 and can't see myself putting much more time into this one.

It could be the types of matches you're playing. I would only see it for FFA matches or glitch matches. I've never seen it for any other type.

It's started showing up in some Merc Team Deathmatches that I've played recently. Those tend to go really quickly.

I've switched to Hardcore TDM, it's a lot less glitchy there.

I play TDM exclusively and turn to this forum for all the glitch news. Haven't experienced 1 glitch mentioned here.

I wouldn't say it's less glitchy. I've run across a lot more care package glitchers in the past week or so.

Domination is what I really like, and I don't seem to have as much fun in TDM. But just in the past two Dom games I've had two glitchers. Had a couple this afternoon, too. As soon as their team starts losing, here come the care packages and EADs.

I had made up my mind to prestige, but without stingers it seems like this would suck pretty hard.

I had my best FFA match tonight. 30-2. Just seemed like no one could kill me.

I was running with a silenced UMP and a 1014 shotgun with the lightweight, marathon, commando load out. I just kept running back and forth throughout the warehouse corner in Quarry. I felt unstoppable.

Hardcore is the biggest load of crap ever. I tried it once, and couldn't hang.
