There is no queue. If he doesn't show up, the first to post 3 game choices will get in.

Frak! You show up an hour late and find that literally everything you had on your list for round 3 (Fallout 3, Halo 3, Little Big Planet) has been snagged.

I'll go with Gears of War (360)

Yesterday my boss came into my cubicle at 11:58 EST and send we were going to have an impromptu meeting. "I'll be right there" was my reply. I waited for my turn, then went to the meeting. I think I made the right choice.

Your rules, but I would think Whomever steps in would have to take the games already chosen. Otherwise you have games chosen that people could have been picking all along. Plus picking more than one at once kinda negates the rash decision making when two people pick the same game. It gives that player free roam to scope the playing field before making a calculated decision.

<- Yes, I'm taking this too serious.

When we've run the games in the past, new players inherited the picks of the player dropping out.

At that point tommy will have 1 game chosen. We (at least I hope most of us) will have 4. The person taking over tommy's team (if he doesn't pick by then) will have to pick 3 to get up to a total of 4. They would inherit his game(s) already chosen. Did that make sense?

Ahh, I was looking at it as of this moment. We've chosen three so the next person gets to pick three. Makes sense seeing how it will be tomorrow.

At any rate, looks like most have a good mix of genres and platforms so far.

I never owned a GC or a Playstation, and those are 2/3 of my pics.

When the draft is over, who votes on the head to head match ups? Just the 16 players or the whole forum?

The whole forum can vote. Basicly it will be the 16 players plus about 2 other people.

Just subscribe to the thread so you don't forget. You'll receive a lot of emails but it's worthy it, believe me

It wasn't poor memory -- it was a trip to the dentist that kept me away from the computer at the crucial hour.

You guys are awesome. It wasn't even my teeth. My wife was afraid she would need a root canal, and since she has severe dentist phobia, she made me go with her. Given the choice between having Little Big Planet on my Video Game Draft list and ever having sex again, I chose the latter.

Worst of all, not only did the dentist confirm she needs the root canal, he decided she needs to be on antibiotics for a week before he can do it, which means we have to go back next week. That appointment's earlier in the day, though, so hopefully I can be online in time to pick Q*Bert for the Atari 2600 or whatever I'm going to do in that round.
