I think I posted this right before a new page got started...and it devolved into Def Leppard jokes(?). So, let's try it again:

So, to kill time until the DLC announcement, let's speculate. Let's assume the other DLC will be at least another song from the Christmas artists (because it seems odd they'd debut an artist with a Christmas track and not have them represented by anything else; Pretenders being the exception). Going by this assumption (which could obviously be wildly off-base), what songs do you think or want to see tomorrow?

Here's mine:

Pretenders - Back on the Chain Gang

Squier - The Stroke

BNL - If I Had $1,000,000

Thoughts?

I'm interested to see if there is additional DLC this week - I wouldn't be surprised if the announcement is some limited time PRICE REDUCTIONS on previously released songs... I'd be cool with either.

Either that - or put on many ignore lists ;)

Well, I played drums for the second time today and 4-starred all three easy songs. Got 90% in one and 97% on the last one, so I think I was close to 5-starring that one. So I guess it's pretty good. Half the time I can't tell if I'm hitting them right or not because I'm too busy trying to keep up :lol: With the guitar I can more easily look around the screen. And I figured out the kick pedal today (with GH and RB games I don't like to read manuals on how to play the instruments, I like to find out myself... I got such a rush when I discovered by myself that you had to hold the fret button AND strum at the same time :D)

This guitar rocks. The new button style makes it easy to go to star power by just pressing my whole hand into the guitar. I still miss notes when I do that but I do star power (ahem, overdrive) at least twice per song now.

I think I'll play the drums 1-2 times a week and stick with guitar.

For the tour I only use the guitar. I messed up and sang a song in the tour and lost fans :( So for the drums and vocals it's just quickplay.

I am going to do the 7-set song this weekend (which for me is Sunday-Monday). It's just that you need a good 35-55 minutes to do it. :shudder:

7 song sets are nothing it's the 12-85 sets that kill you.

He's lying to you. There's only one really long-ass set, The Endless Setlist 2 and it's only 84 songs. There are no 85 song setlists (yet).

Eventually some of the "Infinite" ones could reach that for a genre or decade (maybe even an artist! :drool:) but not yet, afaik. You'd have to have a lot of DLC for that.

The max a setlist can be is 100. My "Infinite 90's Challenge" is capped at 100, even though I have more than that available, which kinda blows. I'm sure my Rock and Metal challenges are probably at 100 already as well, or at least damn close.

Eager to see what the other DLC will be.

You people are not seriously saying that you play that many songs in a row without stopping, are you?

I five-starred my first intermediate!!! :D In terms of fans and money, what is the intermediate equivalent of 5-star in easy? 3 or 4 stars? Because I can do 3 for sure and 4 most of the time.

I'm addicted to intermediate now but don't want my suckiness to lose me fans.


BTW do any of you have YouTube RB videos like Rabbit had GH ones?

I didn't even notice that original announcement said there would be more announcements. That's cool.

My guess is an album. Probably one of the 2 we're still expecting, no big surprise.

use Challenges if you want to practice on harder levels, you don't lose fans.

Most of us have beaten the Endless Setlist 2, which is all 84 songs in a row (with no saving). Some of us have even done it without pausing/failing a song, and that takes about 6.25 hours or so. It's really not that big of a deal for a lot of us.

I play RB every single day. Sometimes it's just a couple songs, and sometimes I'll just play for 6 or 7 hours over the course of the day. It's kind of a way of life for me. :)

That's what i've been doing. I haven't picked up the guitar since RB1 launch day, and I thought i'd give it a shot the other day. So I started running through the challenges both for bass and guitar to get my skills back. I also bumped up to hard because i'm a medium guitar. Starting to get the hang of it again ;)
