My wife is upset she has nobody online to trade and chat with. I will get her info soon and post it. She keeps buying all the stuff in the store so she would be better to trade with. May have to hide the cords for the Wii if she keeps up these daily shopping sprees.

Here are some tips so that you don't spoil turnips or mess up your town. Always change your time through the Wii and not through Animal Crossing.
Never save before a time you played. For example, let's say the last time you played/saved was Tuesday at 9:45 PM. When you restart you can set your time to anything AFTER that. So set it for Tuesday at 10 PM or later. If you set it before, bad things happen. I don't know what bad things happen though since I always follow my own tips.
However I would avoid cheating otherwise as I feel you ruin replayability.

I have never really traded all that much in this game. I just like visiting other people's towns and seeing what they have done. However I do like filling up my catalog so maybe I should try trading more.

No need to worry about the bells. They're not worth much by themselves anyways.

Go to Youtube and type in "Animal Crossing: City Folks hacks/cheats" and watch the videos of people cheating. I really don't see what people get out of doing this but I guess if they paid 50 bucks for it, they can play it the way they like.
