The main difference between this game and the real game is that deckbuilding will be more limited and there's less cards to choose from.
Then consider me freaking in. If that is indeed how the game will be set up i will most likely buy it and every expansion set.

Sigh... I wasn't talking about it being viral, I was talking about it having no beginning. Obviously I know about viral because I referenced "Meet Your Maker" (which wasn't 0 points, btw).

Star trek way to drop the ball retards. I mean first I am pretty sure I have played this game but with different non star trek ships, and two the point of this game seems to be multiplayer it is way to cramped of a map to even have fun this reminds of when I was playing paintball and people wanted to play indoors at those stupid small courses and basically the person who won was the one that "threw the most paint" that to me is not fun.

NOBODY does run-on sentences like you, Spicolli.

I agree though, what a disappointment. Here's what I never get: Somebody obviously paid a lot of money to get the Star Trek license. Why not attach it to a semi-decent game while you're at it? Heck it doesn't even have to be remotely original : Maybe a Mutant Storm or Aces of the Galaxy clone? It's not just Star Trek -- every licensed game in XBLA sucks. BSG, Rocky & Bullwinkle, Shrek, Spongebob. When the repetitive, overpriced Watchmen is your best licensed game, you're clearly doing something wrong.

Re: XBLA Thread Part thrizzee (3)

That's symptomatic of a bigger issue though...most licensed games suck, whether they're disk or online. Either they pay for the license and can't afford actual gameplay, or it's rushed to tie in with a movie release, or they just figure "People will buy it for the name, we don't actually have to work on it." I'm glad we are seeing some exceptions to this nowadays, but they are still exceptions.
The Spongebob game wasn't too bad, at least the trial version. My six year old enjoyed it, and I played with him and didn't want to break my fingers.

Glad you noticed it is nice to feel appreciated . Actually a long time ago I used to care and paid very close attention to my grammar and spelling but gave up because it was taking to long, and usually interfered with the thought I had going. The only reason why I think I get away with it is because most people either like me or are indifferent to me and so they let it be. Now if I was a dick and kept pissing people off then I think people would jump up and down on me like they do some of the others on this board.

If this game ever goes on sale for their weekly sale i will jump on it. I was really tempted to buy it when it came out but couldn't bring myself to pay the price they were asking.

BC:R was the second best XBLA game of 2008.

It is a fucking steal at $5. BUY IT.

I should still be in the Top 10 Worldwide for the overall scoreboard.

I'm in!

The more aggressive they are with the price drops, the more aggressive I am with the purchasing. Crazy how that works.

Isn't the souped-up 3D version coming out in a matter of weeks, though? I can't imagine playing this one after that comes out.

Damn, Ninja Turtles is the only thing remotely interesting to me there and I already own it. Still looking for something to spend the extra $5 I got from Amazon from a couple weeks back.

I have most of those games unfortunately or I don't want but I was just thinking the other day they haven't had anything on sale for awhile.

Re: XBLA Thread Part thrizzee (3)

Picked up TMNT. Hopefully we get more deals like this. I wish that Microsoft would do away with the points and go the route like the Playstation Network. I hate having to buy 1000 points for something that cost 800 points etc

Yeah, but then it kind of minimizes the discount Although it would give me an excuse to waste points on those Street Fighter costumes.
