I've been enjoying it for $10. But, as I told a friend last night, I neither do nor do not recommend it. You have to enjoy the PA style of humor.
I doubt it'll ever be this cheap again, which is why I jumped. So if you're even a little interested/tempted, you might just have to do it. And send a message that 800 is much more enticing than 1600, in general.

What's the point of Mr Driller Online? Is it just a score attack? For the most part I can just point down and hit A a bunch of times to get all the way down, moving left or right every thirty meters or so. Am I missing something?

Basically you buy through Amazon to get a pre-paid code. While currently it's a big "WTF" versus doing it directly through Microsoft for MSRP, there is the potential for Amazon sales... maybe even B2G1 (or better) deals in the future.
Damn that must be what the citi rewards people were waiting for. Those bastards canceled all the deals too..Originally Posted by pinata242

Uno Rush is the worst game you can play on three hours of sleep.

Flock is kinda fun, but the direction that the sheep move when reacting to your ship is kind of unpredictable. Combine that with cliffs and you have the recipe for frustration. Boo.
I was pleasantly surprised by Galactrix, given all the negative buzz over the previously released versions. I'm not ready to drop $20 on a downloadable game right now, but if it ever goes on sale, I'll definitely pick it up.

Yeah, I only played the first two levels of Flock before deleting it. Trying to get the sheep to move in the direction you want is a pain in the ass. I was however tempted to drop ~$38 on the Flock toy set from Capcom....Originally Posted by UncleGramps

Two 50% discounts available on Amazon.com:
Galaga Leigons for $4.97. (though I recommend getting it as part of the Namco Virtual Museum disc for $14.99 at Game Stop instead).
Undertow for $5.00. (Was free for a weekend, but not any more).

Thanks for posting this, man! I won't be getting these, but I am glad to see some sales and hopefully some titles I'm after will pop up soon.Originally Posted by Decker

From the Rareware website. Overly cutsie, but the gist is that Banjo Tooie is coming in April!
Here's the Easter trailer they were referring to:

Sorry. Hey look, it's Easter! Or Passover! Or whatever! Just thought we'd let you know that it might be worth Banjo devotees (especially long-term ones) browsing Xbox Live Marketplace over the weekend.
Why? Well, you never know, you might turn up some kind of seasonally appropriate Tooie teaser video. And it really is a tease, not just because it's only available for one weekend. April 10th to April 14th is the official timeframe if you're, you know, REALLY BUSY or something.
Also due to materialise over the weekend are two sets of equally provocative Gamerpics, free Limited Editions only available for a few days. You should still be able to get your mitts on the top-notch Klungo ones too (including Silver members, but not until the 14th when the standard seven Gold-exclusive days are up).
Or set your sights higher still, if that's possible. Got 250 Points knocking about and the urge to have Canary Mary and Mingy Jongo staring you in the face? Then why not impulse buy the Banjo-Tooie Premium Theme which you may have seen previewed elsewhere (and if not, try here).
Banjo-Tooie itself is still scheduled to arrive on Xbox Live Arcade later this month. We'll have the release date and a full Tooie section up soon, littered with essential game facts that we almost certainly haven't stolen and slightly rewritten from the Tooie section we had eight years ago.
One final Live-related item of note: Amazon (US-only for now) have just opened their XBLA storefront, allowing punters to directly and easily purchase or gift such award-winning titles as Banjo-Kazooie and Jetpac Refuelled – Best Bear-On-Witch Ex-N64 Game (Non-Sequel) and Best Ex-Spectrum Game About Fuel and Lasers respectively. There are also some other games which may be worth considering after you've bought ours, cheers like. Happy Easter
I'm looking forward to this game, but hope there's less swimming as I found those water segments nearly impossible to control and hovering underwater for five minutes near a golden musical note = fun.9/4/09: Don't Egg Us On

Played the demo of Peggle over the weekend and bought the full game.
I like having these type of games which are relatively mindless (as in, nothing more complicated than aiming), fun, and can be as long or as short as you want it to be.

So did anyone actually buy Puzzle Quest Galactrix? For such a highly anticipated title, there has been zero posting about this one. I'm recently "rich" with points I purchased at a 25% discount off ebay today and they're burning a hole in my virtual wallet. I don't have too big a problem with the price point (1600 pts) if the game is awesome, but if it's a frustrating disappointment then I'll pass. Can't get too strong an impression either way based on the online reviews so any input would be appreciated..

I did just that today. I already had Pac Man CE, but wanted Legions and getting it along with the other games on the disc for $15 is too good to pass up.Originally Posted by Decker
