Store is updated now with the sales.

I went a little nuts, I suppose:

Tales of Symphonia Chronicles ($10.00)
Hot Shots Gold : World Tour - PS3 ($5.00)
Chrono Cross ($3.75)
Chrono Trigger ($3.75)
Star Wars Pinball - Heroes Within pack ($9.99) -- I support all the Zen tables and buy them at full price. I love them so.

For those who were waiting on a sale, though, the other Star Wars Pinball table packs are now $5 for each of the two 3-table packs as part of their unannounced "May the 4th" sale (along with the two PS3 Force Unleashed games and a free dynamic theme).

The free dynamic theme has been up for years.

It's been free for PS Plus for years. Now it's free for everyone - even the idiots who won't join PS Plus

Not a fan of Zen Pinball. Just doesn't feel right to me, where Pinball Arcade does.

Tactics Ogre. Hmmmm.

I bought Chrono Trigger even though I have it on SNES and DS. I'm a little bit ashamed.

Velocity Ultra on Vita is effing amazing!

This is a game that I would like to see them make a remastered version of.

Is Chrono Trigger basically the old SNES version? I loved that game, so maybe I should pick it up and see if it still holds up.

I got an email last week reminding me to renew my PS+ membership last week and that reminded me to finally redeem the PS+ card I picked up on BF. I entered the code a couple days ago on PSN and it seemed to go through, no sweat. Then I got another email today saying "last chance to renew." Is this an automated email because my original PS+ subscription is set to expire on May 1 and my code did truly go through or should I be concerned?

Check on your PS3. Under Your Account > Subscriptions it will show your PS Plus account and when it's good until. I'm set until 2020. Stupid cheap subscription cards got the best of me.

Yeah, it is. It was re-released for PS1 in a collection with one of the Final Fantasy games. They were basically just the SNES versions on a PS1 disc. Only difference was loading times were longer. Dunno if that's still the case on the digital version or not, but that's what this is.

I forget how, but you can check the date of your PS+ expiration on your PS3. If you can't find it, I'll look up the method later (at work now and can't access gaming sites). EDIT: Looks like Decker answered this part while I was typing this.

Chrono Trigger is also on the Virtual Console for the Wii, and for a couple $ more, I think it's the far superior version to the one on PSN, which has some horrible load times, even when you go into menus. You will feel your life being sucked away playing the PSN version.

Some very good, some not-very-good games there. Avoid that ATV game like the plague. It's a half-game designed to milk you for DLC purchases. You all know about K&L 2 and Duke Nukem

Everyone should buy Guacamelee! . It's amazing (and great on the Vita -- with cloud-based cross-save as well as cross-buy).

Anyone have any thoughts about that Raven game? It looks like it's episodic on PC and 360, but looks to be the full game on PS3 I think.

I don't know how well Mark of Kri holds up, but that game was amazing back in the day.

Second for Guacamelee. Game is so good.

I'm also a huge fan of Darksiders and RDR

Same here I loved Mark of Kri back when it came out but haven't played it since then.

I picked up Mini Ninjas & Hot Shots Golf.

Agreed. Could not get into the gameplay though. Turn-based combat, however refined, is such an anachronistic relic, that I just can't get past it.

PlayStation Plus: Skullgirls Encore Free for Members

+ Posted by Kristine Steimer on May 12, 2014 // Sr. Community Specialist

Skullgirls Encore boasts some really unique characters. This fighter’s roster is comprised of mainly females (hence, “Skullgirls” and not “Skullpeople”) and includes really oddball personalities. There’s Cerebella, an orphaned circus performer who happens to have a kick-ass living hat with massive arms, the feline-esque Ms. Fortune who cannot die since she swallowed a Life Gem (making dismemberment part of her playstyle), and Double, an amorphous character that can transform into anything, but usually hangs out in as a nun. The game has a fantastic art style, and the Encore version includes gameplay updates, balance changes and new stages and music.

We’ve got some discounts below for our members as well, including a sale on content for some Free to Play titles like DC Universe Online, Blacklight Retribution and Dust 514.

You can download Skullgirls Encore after the PlayStation Store updates tomorrow, May 13th.

PlayStation Plus: Puppeteer, Surge Deluxe Free for Members

+ Posted by Kristine Steimer on May 19, 2014 // Sr. Community Specialist

Puppeteer is a stunning adventure starring a boy named Kutaro, who unfortunately gets turned into a puppet and then has his head removed. Tough break. As you make your way home, you’ll collect heads from other sources (not sure why there are a bunch of heads lying around, but y’know), which serve as collectibles and your health bar.

Color-match games can be quite addictive, and Surge Deluxe on PS Vita is no exception. As you clear out blocks of the same color by dragging your finger across Vita’s touchscreen, you’ll also be racing against the pressure building in the surrounding pipes. If you don’t vent the pipes by clearing out blocks, it’s game over. Don’t worry though, you can always try again. ;)

You can download Puppeteer and Surge Deluxe after the PlayStation Store updates tomorrow, May 20th.

One dark moonlit night, a young boy named Kutaro was carried away by the maleficent Moon Bear King to a black castle where the unlucky lad was transformed into a puppet. Kutaro displeased the terrible tyrant, who devoured the boy’s wooden head and cast away his body. But the headless hero was not alone, for he had discovered a very special pair of scissors to help him on his harrowing adventure to find his head, and his way home.

Surge Deluxe (PS Vita)

A new energy source provides humanity with enormous electrical power, but by-product materials build up fast, and must be constantly cleared to keep pressure levels in check. Shatter the dangerous by-products by routing electrical surges between matching blocks, and then vent pressure in huge blasts to buy you more time! Surge Deluxe puts sizzling electrical energy at your fingertips!

I'm absolutely convinced that if Puppeteer had been released on PS4 last holiday, it would have been a hit. It's really a phenomenal game.

Sadly, they had that space filled with Knack, which was not a phenomenal game.

I usually don't get into match games, but, for free, I'll give Surge Deluxe a shot.
