It was between JP or Back to the Future for me. Chose BttF. Man, the voice actor they hired for Marty sounds spot on to MJF's voice. It's very uncanny.

I assume it's the same guy who did those Marty McFly GE commercial voice-over that ran so much during the Olympics.

Sale's probably over now, but Tales of Monkey Island and Back to the Future are also Telltale games of this sort, if you don't have them (Along with "Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People", which wasn't part of the sale).

Damnit! That was a short sale. Missed out on JP & BttF.

I really wanted to buy about 10 games from that sale but realized that I would buy a lot of them and end up playing very few of them. Trying to break myself of that habit and I'm still struggling with the urge to buy more games than I am able to play.

FYI, the Crash Bandicoot games are now downloadable on Vita. Cross buy.

Edit: it appears to be pretty much all PS1 and PSP digital games and demos. Many weren't before.

PlayStation Plus for May

PS4:

Stick it to the Man!

PS3:

Puppeteer
Pro Evolution Soccer 2014
Skullgirls Encore

PS Vita:

Surge Deluxe
Limbo

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2014/...me-collection/

I was actually going to pick up Puppeteer at Best Buy in a couple days before the coupon expired, so I guess I can skip that now. Limbo was fantastic when I played through it on XBL, so that should be fun on Vita. Nver played Skullgirls Encore, so looking forward to that. I have no idea what Stick it to the Man! is, but it's free and it's on the PS4, so it's getting downloaded regardless.

I was right about the PS4 (that's the game they're giving away on the European PS Plus program as well). First non-launch PS4 freebie (meaning first game someone might have already purchased on the PS4 before it went free). Looks clever enough. I think at least the currently available game is triple-cross-buy.

Puppeteer is a great game. I got it on the last PSN sale for like $7, so no big pangs of regret there.

PES 14 is a surprise. They've never given away a sports game before. Not much of a Soccer fan, but will give it a shot for free.

I hate Limbo (mostly because everyone was so over the moon for that child mutilation simulator when it came out on XBLA years ago), but maybe I'll give it a second shot on the Vita.

I have Skullgirlls. It's a cute 2D fighter with hand-drawn sprites. Has been through all sorts of post-release legal wrangling. Now has extra characters added for free courtesy of an Indiegogo drive.

No idea about Surge Deluxe. Seems like a cell phone puzzle game.

I was wrong. As of now it's just a PS3 and PS Vita game (and Cross-Buy). I guess the PS4 version debuts the first Tuesday in May, Glad I didn't buy that one yet. It does look kind of cute with a Psychonauts-inspired art style.

Ok month for me. Stick it to the man! Looks fun. I have no idea about Surge Deluxe either.

Not really thrilled by anything in May's lineup, but I'm not complaining. Free is good (or almost free, truthfully).

...AAAND it's gone.

You know how a bunch of us were thrilled to see Sony finally "unlock" the remaining PSP and PS1 games for use on PS Vita earlier this week? It took forever to see that list of compatible titles grow, but it had finally happened. And there was much rejoicing.

Apparently, it was all just an accident. It's been undone. I guess that explains why Sony never issued a statement. Users who were able to download games like Crash Bandicoot and other treasures locked away from PS Vita are once again not able to do so. We're back to the way things were. If you did manage to get some of your titles downloaded, though, you're in luck.

Note to self: Don't delete the Crash games from the Vita.

I wonder if Stick it to the Man will also cross-buy the Vita version. Looks like it would be good on Vita.

I had also purchased Puppeteer for $7, and I haven't played that much of it, but I'm actually happy to have supported it, because it's charming as fuck. I know they'll write it off as a failure, but if it isn't cost prohibitive to port, I'd love to see Puppeteer on PS4.

Happy to see Limbo. I haven't played it.

Finally, not PS Plus related, but Guacamelee is kind of amazing on Vita. There's something about playing that kind of game while laying on the couch, and man do the colors pop.

Thinking that Tales of Symphonia Chronicles (PS3) for $10 is a really tempting deal. Never played the previous versions, but hear they're both great games.

Wish that Ys game for the Vita was $10 as well. at $20, I can wait for a PS Plus freebie. Still have other Vita RPGs to play for the time being.

Probably getting Tales of Symphonia Chronicles and Chrono Cross, on the fence about Chrono Trigger. If I didn't have the MGS HD Collection for Vita I'd get it at that crazy price.

Chrono Trigger is cross buy? Hmmm. Would be nice on Vita.

But I'm honestly most excited for Velocity Ultra.

I thought I was kind of done with handheld games, but I'm really loving the Vita. I probably won't buy a lot of retail games for it and will mostly play PS+ freebies, so they won't make a ton of money off of me, but I'm definitely getting my money's worth. At this point, if you have PS+, a Vita is an absolute no-brainer of a purchase.

pretty sure all PS1/PS2 (non-remasters) are cross-buy for ps3/psp/vita.

I'd honestly just forgotten Chrono was ever on PS.
