That's news to me as well. As of today, there isn't a PJ Shooter game for the Vita available.

Cool. Pretty sure I bought Shooter for PS3 during a sale but never got around to it.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

Yet another Worms game gets released today -- Worms Battlegrounds for the PS4. At the price of $24.99! Ouch.
The greed of the Worms publisher never ceases to amaze me.

Though to be fair, I never understand the game concept of Worms really and I do truly suck at it, so maybe I'm not the best judge. But that price does make it the most expensive PSN game (i.e. not full game) offered for the PS4.

I think it's safe to say that you'd be better off spending $5 less and getting Trials Fusion or Transistor instead.

Hmmm, there's a Flash Sale link up on the PSN Store with some nice, new-ish games including South Park Stick of Truth, Dark Souls II and FFX/FFX-2 HD. No sale prices yet, but I bet that's coming soon...

But Ni NO Kuni is only $4.99. Anyone who doesn't already own it NEEDS to buy it at that price. Wowza.

Give those of us in the dark about Ni No Kuni a quick rundown, and why it's worth the $5. :)

For one, it's fucking beautiful. Check out the IGN Review:

Interesting pricing on Rainbow Moon
PS3 $6.99 $4.89+
Vita $14.99 $10.49+
Bundle $9.99 $6.99+

The bundle regular bundle pricing is cheaper than the Vita + price

Decker 06-03-14 05:56 PM

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

What's really funny is if you bought the PS3 version previously, I don't think you can even buy the cheaper bundle now even if you wanted to.

I'm not even a JRPG fan, but christ do I want to drop $5 on Ni No Kuni. Wanting to buy a game you know you won't play is some Steam level bullshit.

Looks amazing.

Ni No Kuni is a fantastic game. Dream come true for gamers who are also Studio Ghibli fans.

I think there's a cheaper version of the vita one for those people that shows as unavailable for me in the store.

Ni No Kuni.

There is or at least was a demo. Try it out first. It is very charming and has wonderful style and artwork. Has a little Pokemon vibe to it too as you collect and level familiars/pets.

great news on Ni No Kuni being on sale. my daughter has been wanting it

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

NiNoKuni is beautiful and charming as hell, but I found it to be rather difficult, more so than the typical turn-based JRPG - so much so that I got stuck on a boss less than half way through, and didn't feel the urge to grind in order to continue.

I picked up Ni No Kuni on Clearance at K Mart a couple weeks ago for $8. With all of this talk, I'm looking forward to playing it

You can change the difficulty in the menu. There's an easy mode. You can switch it back at anytime.

Watched that review above. Game is gorgeous. I bought it, but I'm not a RPG fan in the slightest. I'll give it a whirl though. Started downloading around 11:30 last night. It's still in the middle of the install right now nearly 9 hours later. PSN... you suck.

After setting that up I decided to give Castle of Illusion a spin. I never played the original so I gave that a go first and ran through the second boss before moving on to the remake. Fun game. The remake was great.

I was already playing on easy. Can't imagine how frustrating anything more difficult would be.

I'll mirror what most others have said about NNK. Such a charming game with beautiful visuals. One of those games that I didn't want to end when I reached the conclusion.
