Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Can't seem to find the new PS4 games on the store.
Nevermind, guess they just aren't added yet. |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Still can't find the two new PS4 games, what am I missing? I see ibb/obb but not the other freebies.

You can download ibb & obb as well as take advantage of the discounts below when the PlayStation Store updates tomorrow. Resogun and Contrast will be available starting November 15th.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Man, I missed Fatal Frame I and II for $2 each (PS+ promo)! I guess I'll wait for the HD collection, please please please let there be one!
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Thanks Obi-Wan Jabroni , should have known it was something that simple.
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Kind of a bummer that I'll have the PS4 tonight but not be able to play Resogun on it yet. :(
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
a.... WHAT??!?!?!!?!?
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Did they remove all of the video game trailers & videos from the PS Store? They used to have a whole section dedicated to them but now I can't find shit.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Is PSN down for anyone else?
This is why they should not make "always online" mandatory. |

PS Plus: Binary Domain & Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath Free for Members + Posted by Kristine Steimer // Sr. Community Specialist Chances are, if you picked up a PlayStation 4 last week you’re still enjoying our PS4 PlayStation Plus titles, RESOGUN and Contrast, and that’s totally cool. However, if you’re anxiously waiting for your PS4 to arrive later this holiday season, we’ve got you covered with a new PlayStation 3 and PS Vita game this week. Binary Domain, a futuristic third-person squad-based shooter, is hitting the PS3 Instant Game Collection tomorrow. Morality meets gunfire, Binary Domain’s Consequences System means you’ll need to be aware of your actions — how your squad views you can impact the game as well as how the storyline progresses. On PS Vita there’s Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath, an action-adventure where you step into the role of Stranger, a bounty hunter. Whether or not you head into your bounties guns blazing or prefer a more stealthy approach is up to you, as well as whether you apprehend your subjects alive or dead. Your main goal is to earn as much money as possible, so it’s kind of like real life. You can take advantage of all these PS Plus benefits after the PlayStation Store updates tomorrow. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7386/1...28a57c06_z.jpg PlayStation Plus: Instant Game Collection Binary Domain (PS3) Free for PS Plus members, Regular Price: $19.99http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3828/1...019266c0_m.jpg Created by Toshihiro Nagoshi, the man behind some of SEGA’s most well-known video game franchises including the critically acclaimed Yakuza series, Binary Domain puts players in the middle of a fast paced and intense battle for humanity in a robot-filled 2080 Tokyo. Fighting through the derelict lower levels of the city, players control an international peace-keeping squad that soon starts to question their surroundings and the choices they make. Are the robots becoming more human, or are humans becoming more like machines? Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath (PS Vita) Free for PS Plus members, Regular Price: $14.99 http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3793/1...a9d35c66_m.jpg In the dusty, undeveloped wastelands of Western Mudos, cantankerous townsfolk find their settlements besieged by belligerent outlaws. Along comes Stranger, a tall, dark and enigmatic bounty hunter with a mission to capture troublemakers and scoundrels and return them to civilized townships for incarceration. But Stranger is keeping a secret and needs expensive surgery to survive. In his quest to earn enough Moolah, Stranger reluctantly accepts the ultimate bounty from the owner of the Mongo River and suddenly his adventure takes a very different turn. ______________________________ That's it (except for a sale on Worms 2 that nobody cares about). Interesting that it's the Vita version of Stranger's Wrath, not the PS3 version (they didn't mention that before, AFAIK). It's not a Cross-Buy title, BTW. |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Is Binary Domain online co-op, or is it an AI squad?
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Pretty sure they mentioned it was the Vita version. They had another non-Vita Oddworld in ps3 IGC (or maybe for sale) a while back. I specifically look for Vita games, and remember seeing OddWorld in one of the notices earlier.
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
You're right. I missed it and just assumed it was the PS3 version.
And by process of elimination, Soul Sacrifice goes free next week for the Vita. Very, very solid month (though I'm underwhelmed by Contrast so far) |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Total sweetness :) Vita is getting a lot of love! I'm holding back my digital purchases... Thanks Decker. I thought the free game pattern is one per week (usually alternating between PS3 and Vita), we're getting two free games this week? Binary D. and Oddworld?
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
I've always wanted to try OddWorld. I'll pick it up today.
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Binary Domain is really good...sort of an anime Gears of War.
This is the second time I've gotten a game from PS+ that I'd otherwise probably never have played and loved it. The other was Saints Row 3. |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
^^^ I downloaded the game, but haven't try it yet. So BD is co-op? Local?

I thought we were going to be able to purchase it straight through the PS store, but I guess not. |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Now it doesn't say that it'll be that price at the PSN Store, just "select retailers nationwide". I'll keep watch to see which retailers (besides Game Stop) will be selling it for that price.
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Gonna have to grab a couple of those.
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
I'm paid up through 2016, I think and I'm still going to grab at least one. What a seriously good deal.
|
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
I'm guessing Best Buy will be one of those retailers. I think I'm at 3 years of PS+ already, how many years can you stack?

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Not a single PS4 game? Weak. I guess the library is still too small, but I was hoping for another new indie game or something.
