Hey, they might not give you a bag of souls during this promotion, but if you're a PS Plus member and were going to get Duck Tales anyway, saving $3 on it and getting any other game listed for essentially $5 after rebate is a pretty good deal.

The August delivery of PlayStation Plus games in Europe is almost here, designed to further entice the continent to stay in front of its PS3s and Vitas and away from the ever-relentless sun. July 31 sees three more PS3 games join the Instant Game Collection, with a tough choice for headliner between Need for Speed: Most Wanted, Spec Ops: The Line, and Mafia 2. The same day brings two Vita entries to the Collection, namely the Nordic madness of When Vikings Attack, and the one block to rule them all that is Lego: Lord of the Rings.

There's only so much space in the IGC inventory, and no amount of clever Tetris swappery will prevent the departure of five games in turn. That means you have until July 31 to grab Catherine, Battlefield 3, Malicious, Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus, and Unit 13.

I hope we eventually get Catherine. I want to play that again.

Agreed. It seems that they're working towards the two regions being the same. US has been getting things that EU already got and next month, they get Spec Ops which we just received.

I really hope they keep delivering great PS3 games (to the IGC) after the PS4 is released. I haven't played my Xbox since I finished Bioshock Infinite, and I have a lot of, free, digital games in the PS3 for the rest of the year.

*I have a big backlog in the Xbox too, of course. I'm actually in the middle of Dishonored , Gears Judgement, and something else.

Yeah... I have so many games to play, that I sometimes end up getting locked up about what to play and end up not playing anything...

The Vita and Steam Deals are not helping!

Nothing amazing there, but at that price, I guess they're worth picking up. I liked Calling All Cars back in 2007, FWIW, though I imagine the online community has dwindled a bit since then.

Looking forward to playing some Stealth, Inc when I get it downloaded tonight.

Everyday Shooter is a must buy. Simple, elegant and more fun than Geometry Wars, IMO.

I thought the online servers for this game shut down a year or so ago. Might be wrong, however.

So I played a little Stealth Inc and I quite like it. It's hard, very hard actually, but it's "solve this puzzle" hard, in a Portal or Exit sort of way rather than a manual dexterity sort of hard like Super Meat Boy. Resisting You Tube walkthroughs will be difficult, I predict.

Echoing what M. Corvin said about Everyday Shooter. That is a really great little game and is well worth a dollar.

Wow! Those are big words. I need to try this game then.

I wouldn't say Everyday Shooter is better Geometry Wars, certainly not better than GW:evolved.

ES is fine, with some interesting mechanics and designs, but it's hobbled by it's somewhat clunky controls. GW controls far better and is a much smoother experience.

Everyday Shooter is good, but it's definitely no GW.

Best Buy has a deal going where you get a $20 PSN card and 3 months of PS Plus for $27.99. Assuming you think $20 cards are worth $20, that's $32/year for PS Plus...or 20ish percent off PSN credit, if you prefer to look at it that way.
