Re: Official PSN Games Thread
If you have a PS3 and Vita, wouldn't you just get them all?
Personally, I'm really happy to be getting Knytt, as that's a game I almost bought when it was on sale, but was a little scared off by the difficulty noted in some reviews. Looks cool though (and I'm such a sucker for Cross-Buy games). <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/93N2mUtGESo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Dear lord, I upgraded my PS3 to 500GB and my Vita to 32GB, and now I'm still having to delete old content to make way for new content. :(

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Just noticed that the free Sleeping Dogs game seems to be a deluxe version with three additional DLC packs included (Red Envelope, Street Racer, Retro Triad pack). That's a nice bonus I don't recall ever seeing with a PS Plus freebie before.

In Soul Sacrifice, you can unleash a breadth of special attacks and abilities by sacrificing various Offerings. Exclusively for the PS.Blog community, we’ve listed four vouchers below, which can be redeemed to obtain otherwise inaccessible Offerings (you can’t get them any other way). Spirits’ Storm Pinion Bird feather provided by the Thunder spirits (Attributes: Volt) C7DE-37NA-758R -------------------------- Spirits’ Viviblossom Flower of Healing provided by the Spirits (Attributes: Renew) P5CJ-PNNL-R79C ----------------------------- Spirits’ Blazestone Ball provided by the Fire Spirits (Attributes: Heat) FT83-R5N6-A586 -------------------------- Spirits’ Frostblade Ice blade provided by the Ice spirits (Attributes: Frost) EENQ-GDNQ-KCEJ IMPORTANT: Story progress to certain areas may be required before these Offerings can be used. These universal PSN voucher codes are only valid in North America. They can be received in-game by going to “Librom” > ”Network” > ”Peddler” > “Claim Gift” AFTER the product code has been redeemed. Please note: these vouchers, once depleted, are gone forever. Note : Nobody has gotten the last two to work yet, so they might not be active yet. |
Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Thanks for posting. It appears the last two have already reached their max? I was able to redeem the first two.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
As I posted above, nobody got the last two codes to work. Now they have those codes crossed out on the PS Blog with a note to check later.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
Oh, here we go:
http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013/...keiji-inafune/ The last two codes have been replaced with new codes that do work: Spirits’ Blazestone Ball provided by the Fire Spirits (Attributes: Heat) Q9GJ-BTNL-CEB5 ------------------------------ Spirits’ Frostblade Ice blade provided by the Ice spirits (Attributes: Frost) 4R7F-QENE-CD4L IMPORTANT: Story progress to certain areas may be required before these Offerings can be used. It's amazing -- one of my favorite downloadable games of this generation along with Shadow Complex ( another Metroidvania combat-puzzle platformer). The game is funny, smart and consistently entertaining. Cross save works perfectly and quickly off the cloud. Game looks amazing on both systems and the music is great. Wish there was vocal work, but besides that, I have no complaints. I especially love how co-op works here -- it allows my son to play along with me and help me out (by beating down swarms of enemies as well as acting like a "checkpoint" when I die in battle) without ever hindering my progress at all. I've never seen co-op implemented better in a platformer. It's a total winner!

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
For those interested in Sleeping Dogs, the PSN store is running a 50% off sale on all the DLC content for the game. I picked up the two packs that have trophies: Nightmare in North Point and Year Of The Snake. They're $3.49 each right now.

I came here to ask if anyone else was playing this one. I picked it up a few days back and haven't been able to put it down. So awesome. I've picked out references to Mario, Zelda, and Final Fantasy (and of course Metroid). I didn't even realize the game was co-op. I have been wondering who that female character they show when you get a new power was. I can't recommend this game enough. It's a bit on the short side but worth double its price if you enjoy the metroidvania style.

That game has some tough, tough platforming. The "jump, shift dimensions, uppercut, shift dimensions again, land on platform" bits require some fine button pushing skills which I seem to lack.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
There were a few areas which had me almost throwing the Vita at a wall...but what good platformer doesn't? There was one fight towards the end that I came very close to quitting on but I managed to just get through it.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
I'm late to the party, but I finally had a chance to play/finish Journey. It was amazing. One of the best games in years. I'm about 1/2 way through Unfinished Swan. It's fantastic as well.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
OK...has anyone beaten Guacemelee? If so, please give me some pointers on the 2nd form of the final boss. Seems damn near impossible to get through.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread
When I went back to it the next day, it was much easier. I was just at that point where I had to put it down for a while. I've now beaten it and am almost done with 100% for the game.
If you want to get the full ending, I suggest going back and making sure you have the other 5 pieces of the mask first. You can go back into the world once you beat the game but it doesn't register that you've completed it. You'd have to go back and beat the boss again after already having the 5 mask pieces to get the real ending. |

Another impressive month for PlayStation Plus members:
http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3739/8...e32aeacb_z.jpg Deus Ex comes out tomorrow, the rest later this month. I unfortunately already have both the full PS3 games, but am super-excited to get Virtue's Last Reward for the Vita. |
