If you have a PS3 and Vita, wouldn't you just get them all?

Personally, I'm really happy to be getting Knytt, as that's a game I almost bought when it was on sale, but was a little scared off by the difficulty noted in some reviews. Looks cool though (and I'm such a sucker for Cross-Buy games).

I don't even have a Vita, and I still get them all, because where is the downside? One day I might have Vita, and if if I do, I would then have an instant game collection.

Dear lord, I upgraded my PS3 to 500GB and my Vita to 32GB, and now I'm still having to delete old content to make way for new content. :(

Just noticed that the free Sleeping Dogs game seems to be a deluxe version with three additional DLC packs included (Red Envelope, Street Racer, Retro Triad pack). That's a nice bonus I don't recall ever seeing with a PS Plus freebie before.

Bird feather provided by the Thunder spirits (Attributes: Volt)

C7DE-37NA-758R
--------------------------
Spirits’ Viviblossom

Flower of Healing provided by the Spirits (Attributes: Renew)

Thanks for posting. It appears the last two have already reached their max? I was able to redeem the first two.

As I posted above, nobody got the last two codes to work. Now they have those codes crossed out on the PS Blog with a note to check later.

It's amazing -- one of my favorite downloadable games of this generation along with Shadow Complex ( another Metroidvania combat-puzzle platformer). The game is funny, smart and consistently entertaining. Cross save works perfectly and quickly off the cloud. Game looks amazing on both systems and the music is great. Wish there was vocal work, but besides that, I have no complaints. I especially love how co-op works here -- it allows my son to play along with me and help me out (by beating down swarms of enemies as well as acting like a "checkpoint" when I die in battle) without ever hindering my progress at all. I've never seen co-op implemented better in a platformer. It's a total winner!

I came here to ask if anyone else was playing this one. I picked it up a few days back and haven't been able to put it down. So awesome. I've picked out references to Mario, Zelda, and Final Fantasy (and of course Metroid). I didn't even realize the game was co-op. I have been wondering who that female character they show when you get a new power was. I can't recommend this game enough. It's a bit on the short side but worth double its price if you enjoy the metroidvania style.

For those interested in Sleeping Dogs, the PSN store is running a 50% off sale on all the DLC content for the game. I picked up the two packs that have trophies: Nightmare in North Point and Year Of The Snake. They're $3.49 each right now.

I picked this up when it was on sale. I haven't tried it yet though. I want to finish Lego LOTR first.

beat it last night, and the similar tricky platforming section for 2 orbs. I'm at the final boss now, so not sure if I'll go collecting everything else first or beat him and use my save to go trophy hunting.

Decker 05-17-13 11:06 AM

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

That game has some tough, tough platforming. The "jump, shift dimensions, uppercut, shift dimensions again, land on platform" bits require some fine button pushing skills which I seem to lack.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

There were a few areas which had me almost throwing the Vita at a wall...but what good platformer doesn't? There was one fight towards the end that I came very close to quitting on but I managed to just get through it.

I'm late to the party, but I finally had a chance to play/finish Journey. It was amazing. One of the best games in years. I'm about 1/2 way through Unfinished Swan. It's fantastic as well.

OK...has anyone beaten Guacemelee? If so, please give me some pointers on the 2nd form of the final boss. Seems damn near impossible to get through.

Big PSN Plus Update today

PlayStation Plus: Germinator & Pinball Arcade Free, Gamestop PS Plus Deal

+ Posted by Morgan Haro // Community Manager, PlayStation Digital Platforms

Before we jump into the gaming content for PlayStation Plus this week, we wanted to let you guys in on a deal we’ve got cooking for new or existing PS Plus members.

Exclusively in GameStop stores, buy a 1 year PS Plus membership and get $10 in PSN cash to use on the PlayStation Store! You’ll get it right when you buy the 1 year Plus membership at GameStop; how’s that for instant gratification? You have until June 20th June 2nd to take advantage of this deal. So whether you’ve been thinking about checking out PS Plus, or are an Instant Game Collection vet, you’ll want to hop on this deal.

With that said, we’ve got a ton of stuff to cover this week including two (two!) games coming to the Instant Game Collection: the addictive puzzler Germinator, and the wonderful pinball experience that is Pinball Arcade. You’ll also find new Ultimate Editions on sale, which deliver complete editions of big titles you may have missed with all of their DLC at a reduced price; especially so for PlayStation Plus members. So let’s get right to it!

May 21st PlayStation Plus Update
Germinator (PS Vita)

PSN Price: $9.99, Free for PS Plus members

http://blog.us.playstation.com/wp-co..._MasterArt.jpg
Germinator twists the bubble genre, wiping away old school match-three games. Crash germ bubbles into those of the same color. Combine and grow them until they explode in a splattering goop. Trigger power-ups to pop them all and mess up the screen. Timing and accuracy are the keys to solving puzzles and preventing the germs from rising too high. It’s a great title for all ages, and will be downloadable free in PlayStation Plus later this month.

Pinball Arcade (PS3, PS Vita, Cross-Buy Enabled)

PSN Price: $9.99, Free for PS Plus members

http://blog.us.playstation.com/wp-co..._MasterArt.jpg
It’s pinball action on the go with Pinball Arcade on PS Vita. You’ll find great pinball tables like Tales of the Arabian Nights, Ripley’s Believe It or Not, Theatre of Magic, and Black Hole available from within the game. There are additional tables available to download too if you’re looking to augment your Pinball Arcade experience.

Metro: Last Light Season Pass (PS3)

25% Discount for PS Plus members (PSN Price: $14.99; PS Plus Price: $11.24)

http://blog.us.playstation.com/wp-co..._MasterArt.jpg
Season Pass is for the true Metro fan. It is a discounted pre-payment for future Metro downloadable content. With its purchase you will receive The Faction Pack, The Tower Pack, The Developer Pack, and The Chronicles Pack.

Darkstalkers Resurrection + Super Puzzle Fighter II (PS3)

30% Discount for PS Plus members (PSN Price: $14.99; PS Plus Price: $10.49)

http://blog.us.playstation.com/wp-co..._MasterArt.jpg
For a limited time, purchase Darkstalkers Resurrection and receive Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix for free! Darkstalkers Resurrection includes two games – Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3. These feature classic gameplay, unique characters, HD visual modes, online play with 8-player lobbies, YouTube replay sharing, improved challenge modes, unlockable extras and more. Embrace the dark!

Men’s Room Mayhem (PS Vita)

30% Discount for PS Plus members (PSN Price: $1.39; PS Plus Price: $0.97)

http://blog.us.playstation.com/wp-co...RoomMayhem.jpg
In Men’s Room Mayhem you’re hired as the janitor of your very own chaotic men’s room. You’re responsible for directing patrons, keeping everywhere sparkling clean and steering patrons away from trouble. You need to get your customers safely to the urinals and cubicles in time – otherwise there’ll be a few nasty accidents for you to clean up! Avoid fights by strategically steering patrons past each other with pinpoint precision, but be careful, as the waves increase the patrons pile up fast.

Re: Official PSN Games Thread

When I went back to it the next day, it was much easier. I was just at that point where I had to put it down for a while. I've now beaten it and am almost done with 100% for the game.

If you want to get the full ending, I suggest going back and making sure you have the other 5 pieces of the mask first. You can go back into the world once you beat the game but it doesn't register that you've completed it. You'd have to go back and beat the boss again after already having the 5 mask pieces to get the real ending.
