Yeah, you can just "Purchase" them. You can't get this week's exclusive freebies like Wild Arms and Patapon though since those actually have to be bought through the Vita itself.

Contemplating if I should bite the bullet on the other 3 episodes of Walking Dead for nine bucks (already have the first 2 from when they were free), or if I should just wait for them to be free. I've been bitten before buying these Telltale Games at a PS+ discount only for them to be free a month or 2 later. |

I used to be able to add a game to the cart and purchase it without downloading it but can't seem to do this anymore. It makes me download it right then.

It did change. For free PS Plus stuff, the main link is now "download", not "purchase", so you go right to the download instead of checking out first. If i don't want to download something right now, I have just been cancelling out of it as soon as it starts. I don't know if there's a better way, but it works.
