Cool. I wanted to try Never Alone. Glad I didn't buy it. I do own Killzone Mercenary and it's really really good for a Vita game. Very nice freebie. I think I played a little Tower of Guns at PSX, can't remember for sure. Nice month, as usual.

Fuck, Killzone Mercenary is one of the few Vita games I've bought so far. I need to learn to stop buying Vita games, since they will all be free eventually Surprised Tearaway hasn't been free yet.

I doubt that. It's not a sequel, it's essentially the same game, so why disincentive people from buying the new PS4 version?

Why the hell isn't Axiom available on the PS3? It's a fucking 8-bit game, and they can only make it on the PS4? Bull and shit!

In the comments of this really interesting and detailed Blog Post, the game's creator says a PS3 version is unlikely because the game's engine isn't supported on the system, but "Never say never".

No, while that was definitely an issue when the PS3 first launched almost 10 years ago, things have drastically changed and it hasn't been a problem, even for lone devs, for a while now.

I do have a PS4, but I'd just rather play it on the PS3.

Ok.. While the PS3 is definitely easier to program for now, it's still substantially different from the PS4. Plus that's still rewriting an abundance of code for this guy that just wants his game released. You know, stuff that takes time.

Neither. It's free for YOU because you got the Vita version previously as a PS Plus freebie and now the Cross-Buy PS4 version is available.

Earlier this week, the developer announced it would initially be free to all PS+ subscribers, regardless of if they already had the Vita version, so you might double check if you're interested.
